The narrative so far seems to be the roosters are done and the raiders are warming up for a tilt at the title.

The raiders were mostly poo against the sharks and if not for an intercept by Williams and a fortuitous tap and go try to wighton were well on their way to losing to the sharks in an error riddled performance.

Not saying we are morals but certainly deserved warm favourites.

Yes, I can't see them holding out the Roosters juggernaut. Roosters by 28-12.

We can fly for finals (still all same day I believe), which only saves 30 mins or so time all told with airports etc but the players prefer it as less time sitting in a cramped (for footy player bodies) bus & more time able to at least be up & about.

Ignoring the mental scars that have me dreading some Sydney-centric reffing, I'm sure Morris & Tupou can make mince meat of Rapana's defensive lunacy at centre & Tupou's primacy in the air for a try or tackled in the air & score off the next set results.

Jack Wighton will be wound up tighter than an autists watch this time around- could go either way.

As for the actual game... we've not played a good first 40 minutes in an age
This will be a carbon copy of the panthers game if we do that again, it'll be all over bar the crying by halftime
We cant afford a slow start, the roosters are too good to let us get away with that.

We've got the ability to beat them, and i think if we played at our absolute best we woud. But i havent seen this Raiders team put together a high quality 80 minute performance in some time. No reason to expect it now, and that's what it would take to beat the roosters.
