Might be biased as a storm fan here - but was that Canberra’s GF? They would have been so fired up for this game and there’s a huge mental and physical toll in that

I'm concerned we are f**ked but hopefully we have at least something left lol

Haha I said at about the 70th minute mark of last year's GF whilst in the stands that "if we somehow pull this out and go b2b I'll never ask anything again of the footy Gods".
The footy gods have a warped sense of humour. When Uncle Nick went to the crossroads and asked not to have to play in Brisbane in week 1, they gave him his wish, but they gave the Rabbitohs super powers and they scored 60. Going out in straight sets is the result.

I’d be happy to see you blokes go on and win it if you knock us off but it’s so hard to match that level of determination in consecutive finals matches

Sweet victory for the Raiders.

Their season was on a knife's edge when Hodgson went down, but spurred on by the memories of last year's grand final they've managed to knock their arch rivals off. Next stop Melbourne in a game that could go either way.

Heads on Roosters fans, what your team has managed to achieve over the past couple of years has been sensational. A disappointing end to the year, but there's little doubt you'll be amongst the top teams.

Appreciate the sentiment however I disagree with the 'either way' for next week and its not sour grapes.

There is not a chance on earth storm will go down 16-0 and canberra were out on their feet after 60 minutes. Cant see anything but an easy storm victory.
