Yep, we need some speed in the backs and some forwards with footwork and an offload.Rest Ponga the rest of the year. Obviously injured.
I would play him at 6 next year with Watson at 1. And stick with it.
We need two starting back rowers and two starting outside backs.
Yep apparently because he can't defend yet we've got plenty of others who can't defend either and offer nothing in attackOur best forward for footwork, Ese’ese we are letting go.

Musgrove has been injured most of the year, he's been around for a while in the juniors but always seems to be injured (from my perspective anyway). Hoy and Crossland are both very young and realistically only in their first year of Flegg eligibility, they've got potential but haven't really been banging the door down. Randell start the year off as a part timer from park footy, he's made leaps and bounds to overtake Woolford but whilst he's done well to make the most of his opportunities at CC level first grade is a different story. Can anyone give me the low down on other guys in the squad ?
Why was the spine ( the whole team for that matter ) constantly shifted from position to position instead of simply replacing the missing piece with one of the above players. If they are in the squad I assume they are good enough ? or am I missing something about these players?
- Braydon Musgrove - any good ? why do you think Mann was selected on the wing instead.of this 190cm 102 kilo guy ? Why wasnt this kid given a go with the loss of Lee and Ramien ?
- Tex Hoy- why wasnt he selected as FB when Ponga was out ? instead of shifting the whole spine around?
- Crossland - To young? Why wasnt he given a go at 5/8 instead of alternating between Lino, Watson and Mann all season ? An obvious sign none were any good.
- Chris Randell ? not good enough ? 23 yrs old and a specialist hooker who wasnt selected to replace Levi instead we shifted Watson (again )from the bench.

I said that it was ridiculous we didn't try to sign another winger after Lee got hurt the first time round. At the start of the year the plan was Lee and SKD as the starters with Ross as cover and Musgrove and Toa being eligible later in the season, Ross retired and Toa and Musgrove have been injured most of the season so we were essentially down 3 wingers in our squad yet never signed another back up, that's just poor planning.Ok thanks, so we are lacking depth then ? Wouldnt a good squad have players in the top 30 that can play first grade? Its been frustrating to watch the players being constantly swapped positions every week...I can only image how they feel. I really think it has gone some way to us having the poor season we have had.
1. Ponga

I think Barnett would go better in the middle than on the edge. I like Mata'utai and I think he has a lot to offer. But I seem like the only one here haha..
