It’ll be an intriguing series this one. So many questions arise.
After NSW suffered extreme embarrassment and shame in 2020, have those mental scars healed?
Will the players go full bore at each other now that this head high crackdown is in full swing?
Will the Panthers boys finally stand up to pressure?
Will injuries decide the series?
Will COVID f**k things up?

Paulo is on the bench and Mahoney will be QLD Hooker

Brown and Matterson should of been pick ahead of Yeo and Martin neither of the panthers players have any impact

Obviously he's only in through injuries and suspension. But as mentioned elsewhere. Why not Dale Finucane? Really gonna miss Angus Crichton game 1. He was our best forward last series. Hopefully our pack steps up this time. Queensland will definitely be up for it.

IMO Sims has - despite getting suspended - easily been our best forward this season. Admittedly in a pretty ordinary pack. Last year he was playing busted. But this year he’s back to full health and going great IMO.

I’m more confident in this pack than last year. The NSW pack got owned in games 1 n 3. We need more aggression and desperately need more aggression. Either Sims or Pangai Jr needed to be there. Especially as we lost Radley.

Frizell is past it IMO. If we had him, its more of the same bog standard we’ve seen the last few years. Even today against manly... he toiled well enough but just isn’t the guy of 2-3 seasons ago.

I was surprised Finucane didn’t get a run but then again we’ve got backrowers like him already, so needed some different blokes with impact. That’s what Sims brings. As long as his 30-minute spell doesn’t include a sin bin.

The G' is such a great atmosphere when it's full. Though i've never seen league played there, only AFL and international cricket. Infinitely better than Marvel Stadium that's for sure. I doubt they'd play it without crowds like the AFL is doing so hopefully it gets moved.

Felt like in Dragons last game threads fans were mocking him. Perhaps it was other teams fans though. I know he had a good patch of form earlier in year. Thought it fizzled out.

Can't wait to hear about Freddy have them picking tea leaves on some Hollywood actors farm in Byron Bay then training nude in some hippy retreat so they know what NSW pashun is about. No Bozo or Tommy to rev the team up, so it's gonna be a shit series yet again for the Blues and their fans.

Wouldn’t be like Dragons fans to mock their players.???

Surely not??

But seriously, he’s been a good ‘un this year. Put in week after week, typified by a couple of great charge downs, one with a try against the knights and another last week in an otherwise abysmal dragons performance against the Tigers. Very happy for him to get selected.
