Thurston did what he did because he knew he could get away with it. In the era of $10,000 fines for even questioning a referees performance Thurston basically questioned the integrity of the ref, touchy, video ref by suggesting they all conspired against the cowboys to ensure an all Sydney grand final and somehow was not cautioned. Let's be real here if someone like Joey Leilua said something along those lines he's probably be deregistered

Mitchell Moses reminds me of Johnathan Thurston with his behaviours on the field when something doesn't go his way. That look of "incredulous disbelief" and arguing with the ref.... But while Moses has been labelled for it by many, Thurston had teflon on his jersey... Moses to my knowledge never headbutted/elbowed his opposition nor went public after the game with his complaints in press conferences. Thurston did all those... but nothing..... must have been "Pashun"..
