I agree with this head contact movement but they need to accept accidents are going to happen, it will continue to happen every game where a guy is slipping/falling and gets hit, it's unavoidable

Like to see them allow for mitigating circumstances before they send blokes off, it's usually pretty obvious if someone is slipping/falling
All they had to do was use the bin/send off more for legit bad tackles. Right now they are pretty much saying Rugby League doesn't have a future as a contact sport. Because the tackles they are binning will never be avoided unless we switch to touch.

I mean, yes I love my league. But the only one of those shows I would subject myself to is Big League Wrap, and that's a borderline hate watch some weeks.

Gus is desperate for them to win it this year. Every year they don’t win the comp it gets harder for him to take all the credit when they eventually do
Do they need to win premierships for Gus to given credit for the club's rise? So many clubs are trying to get him on board it doesn't seem like it.

I also agree with the head high movement as well, and I agree with the sin binning. Tonight Nathan was falling, but he got hit in the head by the players fore-arm; it was going to be a high shot regardless. Would it have been in the head? We will never know. But when you have a (quite tall) defender making limited effort to go low or crouch into the tackle, there is always a chance that they will get the head.

Plenty of good hits out there tonight (from both sides) to quell the merchants who are screaming that the game is becoming Oztag; but the onus has to be on the player tackling to reduce the likelihood of hitting someone in the head. I don't think Taukeiaho is a dirty player, but he was careless tonight and as far as I am concerned deserved some penalty.

only in the NRL can a backflip happen so quick

I think a thread should be created is Trent Robinson a myth - he surely is A hypocritical f**k who caused all this shit .

hope this goes to judiciary , prosecutor has easiest case. All would have to do is show all tacklea this years resulting in Suspensions due to teddy falling.
then just show post game footage of Robinson and his media mates due to those incidents

verdict GUILTY

Didn't he say he supported player safety and that the game/players must change? Then calls this shit out like his mongs were hard done by. Reece Robinson should be crowd funded 10k to tell PVL to f**k off.
