Another thing i am bemused by is no HIA for Cartwright after he collected Matterson's head, Cartwright's eyes looked glazed over after the incident, hmmm going to be some interesting findings out of this game.
Yep. Bryce had the staggers immediately after the knock, should have gone off.

I deleted the recording but i noticed after full time RCG went to either shake hands with JWH or rub his shoulder and have a joke with him, JWH just brushed him off and gave him a filthy look, he wasn't happy.

Ceccin musta had a big night at the blue oyster on Thursday as he was f**king useless .... terribly reffed game
Also they need to f**k off the rule which caused Sivos try to be disallowed ... same with Benxi last week just absolute nonsense and the defender wasn’t making the tackle anyway

At full strength easts would beat the eels quite easily

‘Also the video ref are horrific .... how many times watching a game can you make the correct call instantly..... it’s not that hard fellas

just f**k them off completely
Now now, you are not to make fun with Issy 'friends'.

The trouble is that it then becomes a different rule for different players, and the ref/bunker has to judge whether the defender was fast enough and or a good enough defender to make an effective tackle. Better that the test is whether a defender was impeded.

You'd think after breaking his jaw a couple of years ago with his shoulder Maria would be a bit more charitable. He has form for this though with front rowers he considers inferior to him (which I imagine is all of them), doing the same with Hetherington last year. Maria carried the Roosters forward pack I thought.

I did see that. Pretty shit from JWH tbh...and IIRC not the first time?

Its funny, my better half commented that RCG had a terrible looking moustache and i said he is lucky he still has a jaw and can still grow one after JWH broke his jaw while he was playing for Penrith.

It would have been the lower jaw, that's what Maria's shoulder contacted.

Isn't the footage reviewed by the NRL doctor who then pulls the player if he thinks they need a full HIA?

Not a 100% sure but it was clear Cartwright was concussed. Maybe the concussion helped him because its the best he has played for a long while

Did Teddy have an HIA after Marata JWH'd him?

If you are talking about the incident seconds before the Hutch incident no, considering the ref or bunker didn't even see anything at the time i cant see how the NRL doctor would have seen anything either.

So with Brown n Niukore potentially going on holidays... possibly long ones...

What do the Eels do..

Jordan Rankin to 6...

Try Gutherson at 6 (he played there a few years ago) n Will Smith to 1..

Blood a rookie at the centres... (I dunno how long Blake is gone for)

Or something else?

They’ve got the Warriors next week..

Well now you're being disingenuous mate, I'm sorry.

We were penalised for it on review, you took a kick at goal and went in 18-12. Unsure how that happened without them seeing it.

He may have had a HIA at half time which is why I asked, but given he came straight out of the sheds I doubt it

Sorry, you are right, i was thinking the penalty was for the Hutch incident but yes you are right because the ref didn't see anything wrong with the Hutch incident and it was the Harata incident that we got the penalty for on review, my bad there, sorry, i wasn't trying to be disingenuous, just that so much happened in those few seconds, i've blocked some of it from my memory. Apologies again.
