There have been public scams out there before.

For example, Tom Jones management hired women to throw underwear at him before it took off.

Hopefully Adam is throwing his undies at Solly!

Unless another Sydney club (St.George, Canterbury) make a play at the 11th hour.

Another point, that was a real dog act putting out there in the media about Adam needing to wear a brace/reduced contact at training etc. Obviously someone in the club gave permission for that to be put out there.

If the club doesn't want to offer him a long term deal, ok I get the reasoning, but don't start putting out propaganda against a club legend to deliberately ruin his prospects of getting what he wants from another club. That's a real dog act.

Signing him for 2 years means we lose players a lot of them,from competitive to also rans, he wants 2 years and a mill each year, take 500k and we sign for 2, he cant have his cake and eat it as well. All of us want success, imagine coming 12th every year this forum would explode and call the powers incompetent. Take a pill everyone,this is the way it works, and u know he could take the year and help the club, but selfish, go elsewere spread the love i say, but whats the bet he takes the year, anyone?

Handy brother, I haven't seen or heard anything about Reyno wanting a mill each year. As I understand it the sticking point all along has been the length of the contract, not the cost. Like I already said he was prepared to come down from 3 years to 2. Surely the club could have softened it's stance and met him halfway. I really don't like this "My Way or the Highway" approach the club is taking.

He just solves so many of our problems.

We have plenty of cash but we are a struggling side and he could waltz into much better sides totally unmolested.

I'm not one to generally have 2nd, 3rd, 4th favourites, it's either Souths or bust, BUT, if Adam leaves, I hope he goes with the Tigers, with Madge there, and Madge trying to do the his best, and Adam Douehi, it'd be cool to watch.

After what happened between these two clubs in the 80s, do you know how hard it is to say that? LOL

He’s admired all over the league. Maybe 2 or 3 clubs wouldn’t be genuinely interested.

Even Manly would want him at $700k over the ridiculous $1.2 for DCE ( who I like, but not at that price!). You could buy a good forward with the change.

Adam and Adam would make a really good pairing. A decent fullback, and dummy half/hooker plus one really impact forward and it's not a struggling side anymore

I know what you're saying Phantom but I'm a big believer in the old saying "Ä bird in the hand is worth two in the bush". With Reyno we already know exactly what he can do for the team. These young halves may well turn out to be quality, but there's no guarantee of that.I still firmly believe the club is making a HUGE mistake letting Reyno walk.
