Are you saying the Broncos earned the right to shift the ball by generating overlaps and quick play-the-balls?

no

I said Blake took a few air swings and missed when he should have made a tackle

your dark side mind tricks will not work on this jedi master

Radradra would be on at least double Blake's money, which is why no NRL club can afford him. I reckon Blake would be on less than Ferguson, and if he played wing we'd get more runs out of him.
No, my point was if Radradra was playing in the NRL in 2021 he’d be the highest paid winger in the game. If we shifted Blake to the wing, he’d be on overs for a winger.

Not saying that we shouldn’t, but I still reckon he might come good. OK I hope he comes good.

So you're suggesting a centre is worth more then a winger?

Wingers are worth at least as much as centres because they carry the ball more and start a lot of sets. If he played wing he'd be worth more.

It's not in the extended highlights so I'll have to find time to watch the replay (or one of you retirees can do it) but there was a cool Junior Paulo moment late in the second period where the Broncos were coming out of their half. Pangai took another one of those hit ups where he was targeting Mitch Moses and Paulo went after him and drove him sideways.

Emforcer

He made a thing of charging out and smashing merkins a few times late in the game. Good stuff

He put another effort in and I think it was the set before where he ran across on the right hand side to stop another run. I think both of those tackles sandwiched his unassisted line break

I thought the plan to only arrive a few hours before the game backfired on us as we really needed a training run in these very humid conditions, you could see we were all at sea with the conditions in the first half. Once we got used to the conditions we hung onto the ball much better in the second half.

There really is an enormous amount of Eels fans up this way, the Eels support base in Brisvegas is amazing, blue and gold scattered all throughout the stadium.

I thought Reed Mahoney was excellent last night, him and Guth just never stop busting a gut for the Eels

Big Papa has been a great pick up, good on BA for speaking to him.

Sivo needs to have some one kick his arse and wake him up before he gets on the field, he was a spectator for Broncos second try, he watch the kick then escorted the Broncos player saftely to the try line, he made no effort to tackle him he just watched it all happen. He did make some good hit ups but jeez he's gotta give 80 mins and make an effort to defend.

Nice to see Fergo get an early try hopefully he has a much better year this year.

And lastly a big rap for Dylbags, without him on our right hand side we could have been down by 25 points or more at half time. For a little bloke he makes Blake look so inept, it beggers belief how a player at NRL level just cannot tackle.

They flew up midday Thursday
