The try up the middle was due to Moses Leota having a brain fade not due to a lack of effort. Watch it and he should have went back as the second marker with Yeo on the ground but he's in the habit of fading back in the line in between the two markers and A defender (that all our middle do) so he couldn't make the tackle and was offside. Fish probably thought Moses was behind him.

Other times it's a bit worryingly if it's something like a disjointed line but I feel like something like this sorts itself. TPJ over read the hooker half a step and the last try was due to the 25km wind blowing the ball backwards making bombs much harder to catch.
Moylan was similar when he first appeared, was dragged around like a rag doll.
Isn't as bad at fullback where you can pass to your wingers and run the ball in brocken space/off quick play the the balls. But as a winger you have to play like a prop taking one up hit ups and more rarely face a staggered defensive line.

I don’t think today’s Panthers performance was especially worthy of a good smugging out young Dinky.

To only just beat out the third grade Tiger side (mostly thanks to our errors and a flaccid Nate) is not exactly “smug porn” my little friend.

Good to see some Queenslanders hating. Felt like home. We need a 6th ground.
I agree. Not really a game to celebrate for the Panthers; we were average. Tigers played probably their best game for the last 3 months. We win by 13+.

One week to go and no team has more competition points than us; we have at least 3 more games to improve on today’s performance. The Tigers have been told to pack their bags as they will be forcibly removed from QLD and returned to NSW next weekend.

Shows where the two clubs are at this point.

No it wasn't, however, our team will continue into the finals.

I

I accidently liked your post...anyway...not really valid to say that...prior to that game Ivan stated that the system was in place to power on without the missing......tigers celebrated a win...so what
..
It was their carry on, and the fact that they would not acknowledge the fact that the Panthers were missing troops.

Its a good thing Nathan made a bunch of errors yesterday. He's the type of player who is going to be pissed off at himself and work even harder to be better in future weeks.

Even in a shocker from him he still did some nice things. But against a good team those errors could have been very costly.

Nathan has the odd bad game in him - once or twice a year. Glad that's out of the way for the year.

Smug Sandra is happy all questions on Panther matters and give advice on personal matters such as relationships and staying safe during co-vid.

Nathan won't make excuses for the errors, but I will. I was a crap venue and time slot. The sun was low and directly in the eyes in the first half. This also applies to Dylan's attempted catch. Thankfully, no more games at sunset this year.

Edit- and silverdick, "nobody f**king cares"

Bludger of a performance for sure but we did look to just be swinging the ball around to brush up on our attacking movements. We got into attacking position pretty much every set and they rarely made much more than 20m. The Tigers are obviously crap but even the better teams are probably going to have to beat us without seeing our half too much.

Positive things out of the game. The rampaging form of Kikau. If he can deliver one of these games on October 3 it would be a massive help. Crichton is finally starting to look super dangerous. TPJ delivered exactly what we need. To'o came back as unstoppable as ever. Romey also seemed to have a bit more spark about him and it was nice to see him pop up on the right a few times, that'll help Momo/Critta.

This is Smug Tiger, unfortunately he has lost his teeth as he is getting on a bit and is still set in his archaic ways, dreaming of the old days...more of a toothless tiger. 1630295117334.png
