Our Right edge sucks primarily because our fullback has almost no ball playing talent.

Most successful right edge raids have a fullback playing a major part.

Crichton compensated for it at centre somewhat because of his ability to suck defenders in and then unleash a freakish offload/pass to a competent winger who was always in the right position.

Momo is the opposite at centre. Hogs the ball and drags the DEFENCE toward the sideline with him.

Anyway the issue here is that we have the 2020 NRL Centre of the Year on around 700K literally being wasted on the wing. This year is the last year we can afford to do it because we still have guys on our roster who are talented and being paid peanuts (e.g. Matt Burton). We won't have that luxury from 2022 forward.

Yes Ivan has had great results in the last 2 years but if we do not win the GF this year - questions have to be asked - as we would have thrown away 2 Golden opportunities in a wide open premiership window - due to some questionable coach decisions. The competition is going to tighten up from 2022 onwards as the Cap will bite us, the Storm and a few others, whilst at least some of the lower tiered teams will slowly get their act back together. I don;t think we will ever have as strong a roster on paper as 2020 and 2021. Whilst the window will still be open for us - it will never be as easy as 20/21 again.

Your 'facts' are your spin on what actually happened. You completely ignore what is actually happening. What has happened all year and is immediately obvious to 99% of fans.

Watch any game where our right centre is forced to change mid-game and the improvement is instantly visible. If you can't see that then you're blind. No better way to see how much of a handbrake he is at right centre than seeing him replaced with immediate results in a game where all other things are equal.

Tago. Capewell and Crichton have all done a better job at right centre. Crichton is obviously the best all rounder at right centre.

Winger i really don't care who gets the role as they will immediately be more threatening on right wing wing through having a better centre feeding them the ball and creating space. My preference is Staines as his speed will come in handy against JAC and Papenhuyzen who will destroy us in a grand final.

But i would even take Momirovski as a winger. His best form in our jersey came on the wing. I think he's a bit slow but as long as we have a right edge creating space that's all that matters
Mate you made out like he was shocking in defence and had all these oppurtunites that he bottled.

He was good in defence and passed every oppyrtunity he got.

The way your going on about him on the wing is just an absolute classic example of spinning the narrative to work how you want it.

The reality is in the souths game we were blown off the park first 30 odd mins..wasnt until we started getting into good field position that that changed and that had nothing to do with momo haha. He had two good kicks for tries.

Your acting like him going to the wing for half a game was some groundbreaking revoluotionary thing haha.

Say what you want mate. You said he hogged the ball and didnt pass to critta last night etc etc in your long winded hate post.

That was bs. That is fact. Your hate for him blinded what actually happened which ive pointed out but your too narrow minded and pissweak to admit you were wrong.

He didnt hog it. He tried to pass each time in a rushed situation. And other than not knocking the ball dead youve failed to show any evidence of how they were outclassed in defence other than just blantantky bagging him which honestly means nothing. Just empty words.

At least i went back and watched the game before just saying shit which didng happen happen.

Youve basically ackowledged it yourself because youve moved on from last night and just want to talk about every other game hes done something wrong.

Which to be very clear i said myself he had been average at times this year and i didnt particuarly rate him.

The other thing that hasn't helped the right side is a obvious form drop from Capewell.
He hasn't been much of an attacking threat lately for whatever reason.
Getting tpj onto the right edges in attack would cause some headaches defenders and open some opportunities.

Strange. I basically wrote a post extremley similar to this a page ago.

Talked about how our attack on the right is not as good because dyl is the 3rd link man.

Capewell is no kikau.

And cleary doesnt have the running game of luai.

I also talked about critta has the freak ability for an offload.

So did you read that post? About the right side which you spat the dummy about??

Maybe if you did you wouldnt of spat the dummy out of the cot because you say realists post is brilliant haha....

I mentioned incidents specifically from last night and you put your bullshit spin on them. I referenced other games as you can't spin an immediate change in impact with a different right centre when everything else is equal. You're trying to put the blame to other players when thete are games where we can see an immediate change in impact with Momirovski at right centre and Tago and Capewell filling in.

These mid game fill ins have offered an immediate improvement. Our right side has been more damaging and dangerous with Crichton on the right edge. Both when he chimed in from fullback and played right centre. He attracts defenders and creates space. Momirovski takes space away from his winger and on the rare occassions he passes he butchers it. Because he's forcing something that's not natural to him. His instinct is clearly to back himself and run... And when he runs out of space dump it off or kick back inside. His kicking back insideas a winger worked.

I liked him and the signing before he arrived here. But he's so clearly not our best right centre and as such I won't be happy as longas we are sacrificing our rightedge attack by weakening 2 positions just to get extra metres off hitups fromour own end.

Crichton is wasted on the wing. Especially outside of an inferior centre. When his form was shit to start the year I was bagging him too. But our team has some clear standout players in positions which makes it stronger. How long does our right side attack need to be shit before we admit it needs to be fixed? How many times do we need to see a player slot in mid game at right centre for immediate improvement before we realise that other players are better at the job than he is?

Perfectly happy dropping Staines if we actually improve the team. But the fact that everytime the ball goes right nothing can happen showsit hasn't improved. Staines scored 14 tries on the right wing. He was bagged out for strolling over untouched in situations any player would have done the same. Yet there's no situations on that right edge anymore. Im not saying Staines being out has stopped that. But clearly we aren't creating anything on the right anymore.

Capewell has been MIA since Origin which isn’t helping Momo or Crichton either.

There was one V the Broncos, Before Yeo went off. Capewell was tackled by the winger, 2 outside unmarked and he went himself

Martin is no better, He bombed one this week, Roosters game had May unmarked and took the tackle.

Edwards pops across sometimes but generally it is something special ala the 2 Momo kicks v Souths to get the tries.

Next year he will go to the Left, He only got moved to the right to keep Burton in the side. Play TPJ at right 2nd rower and Momo will look like a star.

Momo has 6 tries.
5 Try assists
10 line breaks.
4 Line Break assists.

The issue inside though

Kikau
9 tries
3 Try Assists
10 line breaks
9 Line break Assists

Compare this to the Porn Star
5 tries
1 Try Assist
5 Line breaks
1 Line break Assists

I can remember 3 tries Crichton has scored off grubbers, He has done a couple of outstanding plays to set up tries. Generally though the right looks very slow trying moves

Martin is a prop really but yeah that not a really excuse for that mistake last night

Critta and momo both average, 0.35 try assists per game this season.

Fmd if momo is bombing as many trys as you claim.... jesus hed be setting up triple the amount of tries as critta. Which really says something!!

Especially when you consider crittas played fb where he touches ball more for more oppurtunities....

And critta played centre with the greatest finisher on earth staines outside him...

Im not trying to compare them.

Show me a post i have. Ive said critta is the best centre etc. Just that for the moment i think that him being on the wing is probably whats best suited for the team because the team is all that matters at the end of the day.

Stats dont really show the full picture and he has bombed tries this year. But hes been good the last few weeks.

The bigger issues with our right side attack ive mentioned 2 pages ago...

If you choose to believe everything is momos fault thats fine.

I will just continue to call things as they actually are. If he plays well ill give him credit. If he plays shit i will say so..

Not just hammer him for the sake of it..

Other than not knocking the ball dead how were they outclassed all game by a reserve grade side??

You trolled that out??

You havent given a single reason?

If you can im happy to read and try understand.

But you havent and the fact is that other than a kick, they were defensivley rock solid.

Or am i putting a spin on it haha.. get a grip. Saying youve provided specific incidents? Where bahaha? All ive read is they got shown up by a reserve grade side in defense all night.

Our right outside backs

0 tries scored
0 try assists
0 linebreaks
0 linebreak assists

The reserve graders opposing them
1 try Opacic
1 linebreak Dunster

Defensively rock solid... And they were the only players to be scored against or concede a linebreak.. how the f**k is that defensively rock solid? The only weakness Eels found was that edge on 2 occassions. A seriously depleted reservegrade Eels side managed to create a linebreak and score a try against them.

You are most definitely putting a spin on it. The spin being aside from when they failed... When did they fail? f**king ridiculous. They were literally out attacked and out defended... Or rather so incompetent in attack 2 crappy defenders still didn't concede atry to them. Yet not rock solid enough to not be the only weakness defensively

Wow... you know how to use nrl stats. Well done mx haha.

Its not what i asked haha. Did you actually watch the game??

I watched it twice. Second time just to disprove the crap you posted.

So where were they outclassed? Other than a well executed try off a kick??

You said all sorts of crap that he was completley outclassed defensivley...

Where else? Watch it tell me when... and ill have a look for a third time..

For you info he missed one tackle. From memory it was on carty in about 60th minute on our 40m line. Which didnt result in anything.

Anyway good to know you can use nrl stats... but you forget the ones that dont spin your narrative... like they missed more than double the tackles critta and momo did. Or the fact momo made more tackle breaks by himself than them combined. Or that critta almost made as many meters by himself as them combined....
Just left those ones out conviently haha.

Again... show me when they were supposedly outclassed?

Im happy to watch if you can.

Critta and staines have conceded trys from kicks this year but i never heard you bagging them after saying they were outclassed.... especially when for the most part they were great...

When you start doing that let me know.
All year. Happy for you to go back and look at my posts.

I called tmay out on here beforw a ball was kicked on here and got hammered by everyone.... now everyone sees what i was saying.

I said eiso was a plodder but have admitted several times hes impressed me as a bargain buy.

I created a freaking thread about scott sorensen and how good hes been after being not overly convinced by his signing.

Do you need me to go on....

The momo try assist stats i posted dont help your argument either. Kinda supports my argument that the right side in general is just not as dominant for multiple reasons. The realist posted something similar a page or so after i did.
