Embrace it. Plenty of good signs moving forward. The major one being the side not hiding from the GF

Agreed, almost no point supporting a team if you can’t be excited/confident in the situation that we find ourselves in at the moment. Supported this team for long enough to know that he good times are usually in shorter blocks than what the bad times are so enjoy every minute of the good times when you can

The build up of our squad and how they should and would have all grown from last season, the off season and more has me more excited for 2021 than I have been possibly for any season since I started supporting this amazing club!

Our regular season last year was freakishly good. It will be very hard to replicate such a record. We will also miss the experience of Tamou and Mansour. I will be disappointed though if we don’t get a top 4 finish to give ourselves a serious shot at the premiership.

The training pics yesterday on twitter make it look like both Naden and Burton are outside the top 17 which would be interesting. That would leave Jennings at right centre or one of the kids which seems extremely unlikely.

Did you see Ch 7 sports news last night? Cleary had a very positive comment on Naden.

Naden still could be suspended for breaching the COVID bubble.
The NRL are still yet to rule on him. I would be surprised if he lined up round 1.
The trials will be very interesting.

How positive? Was Ivan smiling whilst wiping his finger across his gums, and/or sniffiling a bit whilst talking

This time of the pre season they are probably mixing things around. Even Luai will spend time in the reserve squad giving someone else a run at 6.

I doubt very much we don't see either Burton or Naden as the right centre

Which player are you referring to?

That’d be a bummer. He doesn’t look like a regular first grader to me, hasn’t ever.

Yeah I am not thrilled at the prospect of Rennings as one of our two first choice centres but he might suprise us. Anyway it was just a photo I am very likely reading way to much into it.

If he wins the spot over Naden, May, Capewell and Burton then he’s probably done something right during the off season. He clearly has talent but has only put it together for one season. Maybe our squad is the right environment for him to do it again.

Even the season he scored a lot of tries, it was mostly just catch and fall over the line. Souths let him go right after.

He’s fine as a back up, but I’d be stunned if he could regularly hold down a FG spot.

Naden has been the big improver at Training. Unless he is suspended he plays in Round 1

Since they have been back Naden and Edwards have topped the training drills. Part of the reason that Whare is being moved on

Looks like rehab has had a positive affect atleast in the short term
