Will add experience thats just about all, but has that Lachlan Maranta vibe to it.

Look at our injury and suspension list. Add to that the amount of backs we have with little or next to no first grade experience.

I think its a smart signing.

Exactly, he'd be insurance only, just in case we suffer any more suspensions or injuries. Plus if we are plucking players from KOE Cup, they still need players to fill the void, so to speak.

Ramsey: I think is starting to feel the pinch of regular first grade. Has ankle injury now
Bird: ok
Periera: ok just returning from suspension
Max F: inexperience showed against the Storm
Matt F: injured
Rava: suspended (again)
Williame: injured?
Dufty: injured
Lomax: injured
SSE: ok but no 1st grade experience
Sloan: ok but no 1st grade experience

Pretty dire situation.
Of our 16 backs, including halves, we have
5 possibly 6 injured
6 fit (inc 4 halves)
2 with no 1st grade experience
1 with limited 1st grade experience
1 suspended
