Next two broncos games at home should be massive cowboys on Sunday arvo and roosters who usually park interest up there
Agree. The Cowboys game on Sunday will be massive for general public sales. But the corporates and stadium members will be lower, which hold about 9k of the capacity. The crowd might actually be smaller than if it were on a Friday. But the actual broncos fans will love it. 41-43k I reckon.

If we continue to play well the game against the Roosters will be the opposite. The corporates and white collar members will probably show but the families from outer suburbs probably wont. 33-36k.

Good crowd in Canberra they seem to like that slot. I remember years ago Canberra would struggle for 10k, they’ve certainly built a decent culture of attendance in the last five
Was still a nightmare getting in , Hayden Drive & Ginnenderra Drive were both grid locked near the stadium near 5.30 with cars trying to get in. There was still 5000 people outside the venue at kickoff & they didn't get in til 20 minutes after the game started. Its easier here then Sydney for sure but still a tad harder then any other time slot.
Its also a long weekend here too so that would have adversely affected the crowd, so it was a pretty decent turnout.
Hoping for something similar against the Titans in 2 weeks.

Agree with the above. Lots of people already bailing from Canberra due to the long weekend. I know a few who wanted to go but had plans down the coast. So in that sense it was a really good crowd.

We ditched travel plans at the last minute and decided to go last night. Diabolical getting in. Didn't get to seats until 20 minutes after game had started.

Obviously there are good reasons for it, but I think the traffic around AIS suffers additionally because it is the current vaccine hub. Imagine going in for your jab last night - would've been a nightmare. Some of the parking which usually would've been available for the football was reserved for those getting vaccinated which made the parking harder.

Agree, others laugh about blowing the horn and the Viking Clap but that's the shit that gets kids and community engaged. Compared to Cowboys marketing, these guys are genii.

The roads around that area are pretty chokehold like anyway. How good would a stadium at civic be? One can dream

Seriously, Canberra are mad if they don't build an inner city stadium.
It's not just for the convenience, but the boon for the inner city business's every match day.
Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin would be perfect for the Raiders. Fully roofed as well.

Where’s the tigers fans? Get a state of the art stadium to play in but can’t be arsed to go watch their team. Good job there was plenty of storm fans in the crowd Or would have looked even worse.

It isn't their ground. Really is that simple

Tigers fans have been slowly not turning up since WT have been playing out of 4 venues.

How many times do you have to be told? Tigers fans will not go to Parramatta. It doesn't matter how state of the art it is. They don't see it as their home ground. It really is that simple.

It's hard to see what the Tiger's offer the competition. Apart from their small fan base, would anyone miss them?

It's a waste of a licence. We've got a strong Eastern Suburbs Tigers unable to use their identity in the NRL because the Western Suburbs Magpies are forced to call themselves the Tigers. Take away the Magpies and the joint venture would be dead, yet the NRL persist with it.
