I’m too ‘lubricated’ to discuss all things Titans tonight, but Jeez that crowd and how a team slap bang in the middle of Australia’s holiday strip (A team needing young Uber healthy blokes) can’t attract quality players lol

The source on aus stadiums says 16,906 for last night. Hopefully these panthers fans can keep up this habit for many years. Probably not much expected for manly this weekend. Canberra can hopefully get 15’000 in

15K would be a stretch for the raiders id think , cold .. rain threatening & worst of all ... windy
But our fans are loyal & hardy folk. 12K im tipping
if it was in sydney in these conditions , you wouldn't get 6K

Due to the pandemic, Melbourne will have not hosted a game for 6 years, come 2024, so I would assume it will go there. (Adelaide and Perth will had 2 each in that timeframe)

will cities still be interested in paying millions for it now it’s back to a Wednesday night? Hardly going to boost sports tourism.

Its only ever been held on Wednesdays in Melb dummy & the 30K who travel from NSW & QLD to Melb , Perth or Adelaide ( ya know , the ones who spend the money ) would probably prefer it too , making up to a week of it away with the origin the centre piece of the trip making it even more lucrative for hosting cities . But its just more of your the NRL can't do anything right crap & as per usual

you're wrong.

A few neutral venues are already confirmed for the years ahead.

2023: Adelaide
2024: Melbourne
2026: Melbourne

If Perth is successful in a few weeks I imagine it'll take 2025.

2025 would be a good chance for Auckland. Whether or not they make an offer good enough is another thing.

maybe won't sellout but will get 80K
which is a very good result in anyone's language
Why can't a lone SOO in Sydney not sell out as you have the bulk of the pro club's, amateur and Junior teams alongside Touch and Tag etc...the NRL should be focusing on all these groups to secure sell out's.

it'll be the 2nd biggest sporting attendance in sydney this year & the biggest since 2019 , a lot bigger then
barcelona a weeks ago in the soccer
england in the rugby in a month

only the NRL GF this year will beat it
80K is fine

8 pm Start time on a Wednesday night.. of course incentives are needed for someone to fork out a couple of hundred to attend the game

NZ seems impossible with all games being Wednesday nights going forward. Broadcasters aren't going to allow it to start at 6PM EST.
