Heard on the radio this morning. About 6400 in Canberra yesterday.

My family of 4 didn't go because of the weather. With kids still recovering from COVID and flu it wasn't worth risking sitting in the cold and wind. If we had a stadium like Dunedin we probably would've gone.

NZ seems impossible with all games being Wednesday nights going forward. Broadcasters aren't going to allow it to start at 6PM EST.

Yeh fair point. Might rule out Perth too. Stupid decision going back to all Wednesday nights in my opinion.

I know it may not be the best commercial decision but I sort of feel that Newcastle should get a match at some point, after having one taken off it last year.

It was taken away by the NSW government, just days after it was moved there. They feared, with some justification, that mass Sydney types would ignore lockdown and infest the town with Covid.

Perth is an interesting one mid week.

They are used to 6-6:30PM AWST starts on a Friday night for AFL matches so might be ok as a one off.

Theyve played them on Thursdays you dribbling halfwit , but yea 24 hrs earlier makes all the difference eh clown ?
And its origin , the nations biggest annual sporting series, locals are having no issue paying those prices because its an event plus 15,000 to 20,000 people are from interstate & won't give a f**k when its on or what they're paying. Nope clown , it'll sellout on Wednesday nights too when its played there once every 3 years
