Would they rather sell millions of $’s of corporate boxes and attract bigger sponsors, or get a couple of hundred saps spending an extra hour or two on the pokies 12 times a year? Hmmm tough one.

It’s a very good question. It is the tigers and making good decisions does seem a challenge for them! I suspect they are held back by their sense of wanting to be everything to everyone And that somehow abandoning these dumps challenges their identity. Or it could just be their management is sht.

The tigers still don’t have a stadiums deal for 2023. Lee has been flapping his gums about using C-town and Leichhardt only and ditching Commbank entirely. The guy is a rare genius

If there are no suburban grounds used for finals matches then no team should be allowed to have a home final. How is it fair in any world to say that the minor premiers can’t play a home final and then be made to play it at a lower placed team’s ground because they have been gifted a stadium!
If there are no suburban finals then there should be no Brisbane at Suncorp, Easts at the SFS, Eels at Commbank etc. How is it fair otherwise?

Newy should at least be able to play at home week 2 or 3 they have 30000 capacity more than Canberra or North Queensland. And it’s two hours to Sydney.

Fans need to learn to travel or they're simply not committed enough. The new SFS, along with Accor, is connected to PT, use it!

Regarding the AFL, just because the stop in Melbourne is right outside the MCG, doesn't mean the 1 and a half hour journey to games for some fans is short. If you don't want to travel, here's an idea...don't go, and watch the game suffer!
