And yet they have spent more of the last decade in the PL than out of it!
Nicely coinciding with a Russian squillionaire buying them. they should be very thankful he was wise enough to get uk citizenship or they’d be in deep shite right about now!

But yeh if sharks LC actually makes some money or some Russian squillionaire comes along willing to pump in millions of cash every year then there is no need to worry about the dump they play in lol.

Why would they need that when they can't be relegated lol?

Point remains. Having a tinpot outfit like Bournemouth in the EPL doesn't take the shine off of it, regardless of the million caveats you want to put on it.

I still don't understand what's stopping them from going back to 20k capacity.

With the construction works going on a lot of areas are simply not accessible.

The top of Peter Burns stand where the Chairmans lounge (corporates) is closed. So they set up a temporary marquee for them. That took up a large space on the hill.

And I think family hill is also reduced as they are doing work there too.

The hills on both sides of the Peter Burns stand is currently scaffolding also.

To be honest when they are full now at 12,000 I dont see where another 8000 can fit if the above is reinstated but I was at the game when we got 22,000 so I guess you can be surprised by how many can fit when on a hill/standing room.

From what I understand we'll be at about 15 or 16k next year as construction continues. Which is typically our best average anyway currently, and unless we do some significant upgrades it likely wont increase any time soon.

Pretty funny since he was nagging vlandys to ensure they got the home final

now many sharks fans have missed out

What a sook. He just likes to hear his own voice.

I couldn't give a hoot if Sharks fans missed out. I didn't miss out but would be fine to miss out. We'll play in bigger stadiums hopefully week 3 or atleast week 2 - go to those games.

What ever increases Sharks chances of winning is all that matters imo. I dont want the Cowboys playing at essentially a neutral venue. I want them playing at venue we've lost only one game all year.

Could be well over 150k though with the nrl making that bank

Not really no. People just believe what they want to believe

We have figures to show What Sharks and Cows draw at SFS

Penrith having a home game 40km away on a Friday night doesn't have the huge crowd people imagine
