Not really no. People just believe what they want to believe

We have figures to show What Sharks and Cows draw at SFS

Penrith having a home game 40km away on a Friday night doesn't have the huge crowd people imagine
Lmao both Penrith and sharks fans are complaining about not getting seats

plus throw in the corporates at accord and allianz

the nrl has left up to 5 million in lost revenue

so stupid

There are still seats on sale right now. Those fans went off too early

As for the corporates, 3 games in Sydney you won't get the same ones at all 3 games

Depending Melbourne should crack 100k which is around same as 2019. Despite the whinging about grounds
Not quite. 11K + 20K + 42K means Melbourne needs around 27K which isn't going to happen (selling very slowly - should have been played 4pm so no clash with AFL across the road). Will be around 92K.

Still, Three sellouts matches the AFL last week. Can't ask for much more.

The Roosters average includes having the Magic Round triple header included as a home game.
I think it is silly to count that too, happy to take it off.

Roosters home average over their other 11 home games = 15,369

What's the next excuse?

As every one else is carrying on about suburban grounds and how badly off rugga league is (honestly this place is full of concern trolls) I will do the numbers.
Normal season aggregate 2947k
best since 2014
11th best since 1908
well done despite;
1. wettest winter on record in Sydney
2. warriors based on sunshine coast
3. reduced capacity at sharks
4. residual effects of covid

Meanwhile AFL had worst season (except Covid years) in 18 years and worst average in a quarter century.

Well done NRL!

But this doesn’t suit the big stadium agenda and will get the “but it could have been better” treatment!

I used to go to the final series when they were all held at SFS - mostly quarter to half filled with zero atmosphere.
A full stadium of 12000 is better than a third filled with 17000

The fact we can only get 12k whilst our rival is drawing 60 -90k is the big elephant in the room!

Was finally able to grab a couple of members passes. They used to allow club card access but they ain’t allowed this weekend. Judging by the fact you couldn’t get more than a few seats together on Tuesday morning, are we heading towards two sell outs at Allianz from a rugby league perspective.

Tickets still available for both Panthers and Sharks games according to ticketek website albeit when you actually try to select one of the few categories available, it says there aren't enough tickets for even a single adult so seems sold out.

Roosters game has allocation exhausted. That is pleasantly surprising as I thought two 40k plus crowds in a row would be a hard sell.

Storm game still has a heap of tickets available. It would be disappointing if that game didn't get close to a full house.
