2022 Injuries and Suspensions

Absolutely highlights the utter failure of AOB to build a strong squad the fact that one injury in the halves and we have to resort to a makeshift utility/middle forward who no other club was interested in, absolutely pathetic.
It's the fault of our own systems too. Crossland is like.. the only halves prospect we've had come through since Cogger and Lamb? And none of them were up to it?

When was the last time we produced an actual first grade capable half? Mullen?

Out of all the options I think I want Hoy to get first crack in the halves - feels weird to say, but he's deserved it?

At least he'll throw caution to the wind unlike Phoenix who doesn't even look at the defence and has premeditated plays.

yes but development aside we should have signed another half once we let Pearce go, its so bad that we literally dont have a genuine half in NSW cup either, our 2 halves in NSW cup are both natural fullbacks

Yeah, it's really bad.

Brown is starting to find a bit of form with the Warriors and had remained a very strong recruiter of players. Would he have allowed the KP situation to get to where it is? And let Pearce walk without depth or capable replacement?

Joey on the Footy Show said 2-3 weeks for Clune, 6 weeks for Young.

Both Lee & Hunt have been late withdrawals from NSW Cup, along with Sasagi. Probably out of fear of them getting injured too. Would think that would mean Edrick more likely next week.

Hoy named at 6 so could play himself into Clune's spot with a good game today.

Well to be fair he has Hoy who's been playing in the halves to choose from too. It's not a fait accompli that Crossland is picked if Clune is out
