The club is starting to put the pieces together for an official farewell to Panthers Stadium on Friday, August 26 when Penrith play the Warriors. With the game kicking off at 6pm, it allows for the potential of some festivities after the match.

The team is also likely to wear a heritage jersey for the fixture. While this will be treated as the official goodbye, there’s every chance the team will be back in September for a Home Final.

The 1967 jersey would be appropriate - hopefully it's more like the first ISC effort in 2006, and not any of the later versions (cough Asics in 2016 cough)
I would imagine if they are saying "heritage jersey" they're probably just going to use the 91 jumper which is currently given the name 'alternate'.

I hope they wear this iconic design:

I think if we could have clean jerseys like Manly's plus a 'sponsor jersey' i could live with it if it saves them ruining the other jerseys.
100% agree. This is a great compromise that keeps both fans and sponsors happy. You are basically surrendering 2 games to the sponsor allowing them to use your jersey as a billboard in return for a clean integrated home/away jersey. Gets the ugliness out of the way in one hit as opposed to having it spread across an entire season. However, don't be surprised if Pointsbet being white on the home and maroon on the away jersey is only a one year agreement.

Warriors half arsing the heritage kit. No black shorts or socks. Disappointing
That gives me a bit of hope that they aren't looking at reverting back to the black main colors again... im preferable to the warriors being their inagural colors blue, white green and red, its unique...
And they can use covid as an excuse, for not getting the full kit, even though can get a jersey produced, but so what they have the away blue shorts, that will do for one match

Sorry if this has already been posted but I found a really good rugby league jersey shop in shellharbour and they had this NSW Captain's run jersey:

I don’t like ANZAC Day jerseys - they’re tacky and I don’t think playing dress ups is very respectful. However, I’ll always get behind the Roosters wearing the sky blue jersey. It makes sense. I just hope they show restraint and don’t include images of soldiers or camouflage print.

I’m hoping Storm don’t have one this year - especially after last year’s ugly design. Hopefully not seeing anything about one yet is a good sign.

Nope they got one, and it’s ugly!

It’s a no from me. All you need to do is add an ANZAC Appeal logo, a sprig of rosemary and/or a poppy and that’s it. Auction the player worn jerseys and maybe offer a small percentage donation from all merchandise sold across all clubs this week. Clubs would likely sell more in that scenario. It would be better than ‘a portion of the proceeds’ from the sale of tacky ANZAC jerseys.
