Warriors kit still is solid, even though the V design no longer extends to the sleeves.

Castore have done a great job replicating the 2002 kit. It actually looks better IMO because there aren't patches all over it (ISC over Kappa, Grand Final badge, Western Union Sticker logo)

First paragraph of the story at the link:

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have today unveiled a bold new alternate jersey, which will be worn for next Thursday night’s ANZAC Round clash against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at PointsBet Stadium and for NRL Magic Round at Suncorp Stadium against the Brisbane Broncos.

I love how the watermarked logo can't even be seen in the picture with the players. It literally looks like a black PointsBet t-shirt with some maroon trim.

For the second time this year we’ve got a stupid cowboys vs raiders jersey matchup. Round 2 the raiders wore their navy and green home vs the cowboys navy home, and now the cowboys are wearing their white away vs the raiders heritage (with white shorts). The cowboys home kit vs the raiders heritage is a visually pleasing matchup and they’ve f**ked it up both times

This is the fan version, not playing version.

I hate the idea of a jersey that is based around the sponsor's branding.

BUT....

I love how Manly have gone to a real effort this year to integrate their sponsors into their normal home and away jerseys.

I think if we could have clean jerseys like Manly's plus a 'sponsor jersey' i could live with it if it saves them ruining the other jerseys.

Take Newcastle - Force NIB to integrate the disgusting bloody huge green box. Then produce a separate green NIB jersey

I think you'll find Newcastle's 2023 jerseys will have a much better NIB integration into the design. The pstel-lime green box logo on the jerseys this year seems to be a placeholder, as the actual new NIB logo doesn't require the green box. The new logo features on the Knights' website and phone app as just a white logo sitting on the blue background.
I tend to think that the new logo hadn't been unveiled at the time the jerseys needed to be signed off upon, so the current hideous one was decided to be used for 2022.
Much like how Brisbane last year had the old Kia logo on their kits despite the new one already being in wide use before the NRL season had kicked off.

Thank fkn christ, NIB finally listened, it wouldn't have been an issue if they sponsored the raiders or souffs, but its been a decade of shithouse jerseys because they were unwilling to intergrate with the knights...
I'm glad to hear of this especially since I've carried on for over 5 years about it... mind you they can still fk it up by having it cover the design like theyve done with the inagural '88 jersey...
Take a leaf out of the roosters playbook, put your major sponsor just beneath your design, people will fork out big dollabucks if it doesn't impead the design, some thing that the dragons fail to utilise! keep the bank off the redV facepalm 🤮

The cut-through on the Red V goes back to the 1970's with Penfolds. The main changes since have been having the "goatee" below the sponsor first, then losing the "goatee" for decades before it made a comeback when Adidas were our jersey manufacturer, and finally a few years of a very short full V with ISC before going back to the "goatee" design.

I've got no issue with the cut-through, though I think it looks better without the "goatee".

The club is starting to put the pieces together for an official farewell to Panthers Stadium on Friday, August 26 when Penrith play the Warriors. With the game kicking off at 6pm, it allows for the potential of some festivities after the match.

The team is also likely to wear a heritage jersey for the fixture. While this will be treated as the official goodbye, there’s every chance the team will be back in September for a Home Final.

The 1967 jersey would be appropriate - hopefully it's more like the first ISC effort in 2006, and not any of the later versions (cough Asics in 2016 cough)
