looks like theres 13 clubs reporting on that list from april 5th 2021, not 12
hazzard a guess & say that those 3 not reporting would have added about 45K to that total for about 282K all up

with 2022's figures & the 5 clubs missing official numbers
Broncos would surely be over 25K
Penrith over 20K
Sharks at 13K odd
Titans .. idk .. 10K ??
Warriors would be low but might get a kick on when they return home , but lets say 5K atm

we;d be pretty much bang on 300K atm
not bad all things considered

Yeh a 10% reduction on previous best isnt too bad given the covid hang over still. Hopefully next year there'll be more confidence and routine in going out and we'll see a boost again. Though now the figures are not in anyway official or collated by the NRL its hard to know the accuracy but I guess we have to take them on face value.

The figures that appear in the table are absolutely official - it's just that its no longer mandatory for clubs to report.

I should have said reliable, ie they are verified by the nrl in the annual report.

You could cross check with the membership revenue recorded in the clubs financials which will give you pretty good view if anyone is inflating numbers.

Hard to tell though given the significant difference in revenue amount between full, 3 game and non ticketed memberships, then the memberships being given out for free. Given clubs with 30k memberships are avg 15k crowds it would suggest a lot of memberships are not full value.

I'm not sure what the answer is exactly, but there needs to be a real push on increasing fully ticketed members, and crowds generally.

Having both Thursday and Friday 6pm games certainly doesn't help the comp crowd wise, but I guess we have to live with it.

A little better. Still needs a lot of work
333K is the NRL record from 2018
with some guessing about the 3 clubs not reporting so far , ( penrith are apparently over 20K ) we are at or about 310K atm

I think we can get the record this year & with the Warriors barely contributing thats a pretty fair effort.

I’d assume a lot of Souths memberships are interstate and OS too. I know their WA / QLD Membership is popular and doubt they’d help boost crowds. Part of the membership is to be a supporter of the club and they’d be a lot who don’t go or can’t get to games. To be fair I reckon a few clubs would be in the same boat.
The memberships def help sell merch. They sell a lot of gear. I heard the ANZAC jersey sold in the 1000s and sold out quick. The member discounts are good value too.

despite stinking the joint up , the Raiders continue to have members sign up & might still break their membership record

22,341 atm
need another 799 to set a new record
