A dysfunctional family - the sort that has a couple of old cars on blocks in the front yard, marries their cousins and has one brother forever in and out of gaol - but a family none the less.Being a member makes you part of our family.

The figures that appear in the table are absolutely official - it's just that its no longer mandatory for clubs to report.Yeh a 10% reduction on previous best isnt too bad given the covid hang over still. Hopefully next year there'll be more confidence and routine in going out and we'll see a boost again. Though now the figures are not in anyway official or collated by the NRL its hard to know the accuracy but I guess we have to take them on face value.
I should have said reliable, ie they are verified by the nrl in the annual report. The figures that appear in the table are absolutely official - it's just that its no longer mandatory for clubs to report.

Hard to tell though given the significant difference in revenue amount between full, 3 game and non ticketed memberships, then the memberships being given out for free. Given clubs with 30k memberships are avg 15k crowds it would suggest a lot of memberships are not full value. You could cross check with the membership revenue recorded in the clubs financials which will give you pretty good view if anyone is inflating numbers.
I'm not sure what the answer is exactly, but there needs to be a real push on increasing fully ticketed members, and crowds generally.Hard to tell though given the significant difference in revenue amount between full, 3 game and non ticketed memberships, then the memberships being given out for free. Brisbane reported 30,000 on social media this morning, and as mentioned earlier in the thread, Cronulla's March member update indicated 13,000 approx.
333K is the NRL record from 2018A little better. Still needs a lot of work
I’d assume a lot of Souths memberships are interstate and OS too. I know their WA / QLD Membership is popular and doubt they’d help boost crowds. Part of the membership is to be a supporter of the club and they’d be a lot who don’t go or can’t get to games. To be fair I reckon a few clubs would be in the same boat.Hard to tell though given the significant difference in revenue amount between full, 3 game and non ticketed memberships, then the memberships being given out for free.
