Can someone tell me what " mini`s " are ? and how they relate to the ratings figures. Are they any different from extended highlights or are they longer and would they go into consolidated 7 - day viewing figures.
I can see them becoming very popular for sports that tend to drag on for inordinate amounts of time.

That is correct. Launceston offers no options other than quiet nights by the fire and a glass of wine. I hope you survive the isolation.

Minis are great. It is impossible to watch every game these day.

Wanted to catch up on Parra game and NBL before the F1 started... Mini fixed that. It is around 20 mins and has all the tries. Sin bins and anything of note in it

You will very rarely see one in the top 20 fox viewing. Minis theres been a couple lately.

time shifting captures this a little, part of the reason ive moved to a cons+7 report as well as overnights. Replays arent considered the same program, advertising is different, market viewing is different.

You can smell the hops brewing from there. I used to work close by many years ago. It was a pleasant spot.

There`s about 55 - 60 minutes of ball-in-hand in a League game so a mini of 15-20 minutes is almost a third of the action, pretty good I reckon. As you say, you get to see all the highlights not just the tries etc. I can see them being very popular.

minis are never included in live match data

They mightn`t be included in `live match data` but you bet your bottom dollar the NRL and Foxtel are watching their ratings like a hawk. It`s all more exposure when you are trying to market your game to sponsors and 51k on top of everything else is significant.

Agreed and what a weekend it`s going to be; kicking off with Women`s SOO on Friday and finishing with Men`s SOO on Sunday night.
Isn`t it great that we have a Test match of the highest calibre that doesn`t have to involve Australia any more. That Kiwi vs. Tonga match should bring the house down.
