Rugby league World Cup this year too

what do fumble fans do for their kick of international football ?

vlandys has to get an end of season international competition going it will be a decent money spinner, especially with the rise of the island nations

Australia could struggle to make the final

Disappointing ratings for a disappointing Grand Final, Geelong just too dominant this year. Similar story in 2019 with Richmond too.

Also 7's push for a night GF can only gather momentum now.

so
172 million potentially

hahahaha

the only people outside of australia , & mainly the sthn part of it who'd bother watching it ... or even know its on

or even know what the hell it is
would be counted in a few the thousands

the rest would be ex pat aussies living abroad & most of them .. from the sthn part
this sport has little presence in half of aust

& none , anywhere else on the planet

oops lol. I tried to watch the pre game to see Robbie but kept getting border force, now I know why lol

Australians attempting to tune into the AFL Grand Final coverage lost their minds over Channel 7’s stream of the match on 7 Plus.
Fans looking to watch the greatest event on the AFL calendar on Channel 7’s streaming service were welcomed to 7 Plus with coverage of Australian Border Force between 2pm and 5pm, as the Grand Final was being broadcast on Channel 7 on free-to-air television.

Enraged viewers took to Twitter to vent their frustrations with the streaming platform and Channel 7’s Plus app as their pre-game stream was ended under an hour before the first bounce.

I’m assuming that’s mostly because the game was a straight up blowout? Curious what the peak was. The hype seemed high leading up to the GF and their finals ratings were impressive. That’s a really poor result TBH.

Edit: I honestly wonder if the scandal had an impact. In some ways it did overshadow the GF this week. Feels weird seeing this happen to another sport for once.

dare I say it
but did being exposed as racist filth ..... again... have an impact ?
Sure the score line played a part but yep I’m sure the racism scandal also played a part

since other than Band-Aid solutions this is going to damage their brand as it just gets repeated time and again

it’s almost an annual occurrence now

The most damaging thing would be if they do a review of all their clubs and similar results come out. I hope they do to be honest.

I was at the pub and the fumbles were on and the biggest thing that I noticed was the pro indigenous song at halftime (Solid Rock - Goanna). In light of what happened it was so incredibly tacky and stupefyingly hypocritical.
