Rest easy mate. Manly could lose by 50 every week and nobody would ever feel sorry for the merkins.

Oh no, I 'member 2003.

It was a dark time. Luke Dorn in the halves, sympathy from the opposition, Dot Donald our most high quality backline option...

I liked what I saw tonight. Townsend, Dearden and Drinkwater looked a million bucks. Our young forwards were bloody good too. It's always good to get a win over the bloody Donkeys!

Like, this is a trial obviously, but there does have to be some alarm bells ringing right?

It's getting to the point where I am *this close* to feeling sorry for them.

Which as a Manly fan was the worst emotion an opposition fan ever had towards my side.

Could be another long year for the donkeys, and isn't that an exciting prospect? For all the great young players they constantly crap on about they lack creativity and Reynolds doesn't really bring that. Add to that they are bloody boring to watch and most other teams are throwing the ball around more now.

the thing that angered me the most about tonight was the obvious lack of 'giving a f**k' about who was playing for NQ by the commentators.

Nanai didn't even play and Shane Wright is in SL yet both had their names called by the clowns with the mics........

Good win by NQ, looked a lot faster and fitter than years past, just being competitive is all we ask for.

I'd love to see them get the spoon again. Hopefully Reynolds takes the money and has a piss-up each week. He should spend his spare time with Julian O'Neill.

HTF knocking the ball half way to his dead ball line has been ‘a knock on for a hundred years’.

We were missing James Taumalolo also.

Agree totally. If you're not in Sydney or Brisbane...

Now I feel bad for my nanai post. I've been fooled by those fox commentators.

My Kayo's working fine. Can't imagine what it would take for me to go back to Fuxtel.
Trust me I was the same. Our download speeds last year were 100mb/s, as I would always check because I knew what was coming. No other internet devices being used & it would still suffer buffering 5-10 times per half.

Watching a shit Cowboys side play at 10pm on a Saturday night brings back some serious early 2000’s nostalgia.
But we're not "3 years in a row wooden spoon shit"......... That illustrious title is reserved for only the real shittest of the NRL organisations.

Agreed on the nostalgia point though, great times!
