CC will only tolerate being stuck behind Ivan for so long I’d say. Next year is Ivans last year of current contract and but the Nate factor may prolong it.

Financial Assessment.

$940k a season for Nate, say the shoulder injury at the bare minimum will cost close to $120k with Medicals when you’ve got SOS who it seems can do the same job for what, say base salary at $4k per game.

So this round 6 Nate return will cost the club say $20k per game, so a comparative saving of $16k per game using sos.

Thats enough for a Burto, but he won’t be back into the market for anything less than $850k. That’s how good he is.

Latrell is a much greater cost to the rabbits but his wounds are all self inflicted. The most stupid player in the NRL. When he gets suspended again this year, watch the bunnies dump him. I would have sacked him after he broke that guys face. You could see the body language from his own players, they can’t stand him.

Nates Struggle is real.

I’m calling sos comfy only after another 4 games of excellence in a row. So far so good.

Anybody expecting a miraculous post injury return to form for Nate, should take a cold shower. Easy does it. I’d start him back very very cautiously at the back end of game, 15 minutes max. Every coach in the game will issue instructions to nullify him, by any means possible. That means blunt force trauma to his shoulder at every opportunity. They did the coaches survey late last year, and he won best player. That’s pretty gratifying.

This round 3 business is nonsense. Sos has been so good, if he keeps going, Nate will be out for much longer. That’s the plan I’d say. Cautious and careful. He’s really not needed right now anyways. The less footy he plays the better at the moment. It will be doing his head in, he lives to compete. He’s almost reckless sometimes in relation to his own safety. He needs to watch that.

A big problem for the Panthers is if sos has done his dash. Hard to tell right now. His History is against him, but by the crikey, he deserves the benefit of the doubt after his glittering mom performance against all the odds.

SOS could end up as a Peter Wallace clone. But with good knees.

A player like SOS behind a quality forward pack, creative 5/8th and Yeo. Having simple instructions communicate, kick well, and count numbers he will be fine.

It's like your praying for failure, even demanding it.

Very ordinary standard game. To be expected given the lower grade situation over the past couple of years

We are up 10-0.

Turuva is the only one standing out. No one is playing horrible just going through the motions
