It's all about zero tackle on kick chase then tackle one to beat Manly due to their wingers. If we control the ruck on Tommy's hit ups we win the game because their wingers hit ups will do nothing without a quick play the ball preceding it. Their other two wingers we should be able to smash and slow down pretty easily pretty much every time they take a hit up as long as we're tackling well in contact. Saab's a cat and Garrick's like a discount AJ.

Manly are reliant on Tommy to get their sets started and relying on one guy to get your sets started is a vulnerability. You can get up off the line hit one guy hard in numbers the entire game. Doing it on the next tackle the entire game is too taxing. For us teams can try it on To'o but they can't put the same amount of focus on Edwards. That's the difference. Good teams don't need to target their other wingers and will just dominate them in contact normally all game. You can afford one guy like Staines, AJ, Garrick, Ramsey, Saab, etc. Two of them is a weakness unless the 3rd big body is the size of Latrell.

All that will be out the window if the ref starts blowing ruck penalties to let them out of their end. First game with the new rule it wouldn't surprise.

Lol, I know your joking But some people will start click baiting, you better start putting paid ads on your posts cause you will make a fortune.
Well @soc123_au put me through an intense 2 week behaviour modification program.

…….whatever I post, the underlying basis is of a hope of a Panther victory with an exception for the Tigers or neutral at worst.

In other words, posts even if they seem hostile, should be interpreted as being ultimately constructive and with plenty of underlying good will as they have been in crucial moments.

I honestly feel Smug is over, everyone has to adjust and I’m here to help.

Just through the cycle of league life, the days of the Panthers as a rugby league super power are gone. That’s not a criticism but what I think is true. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Lambchop is right. People shouldn’t shoot the messengers. He’s a genuine patriot in all this, his warnings should be heeded and taken seriously.

When Nates shoulder was deemed serious by a few brave souls, this is an example of the
pushback by an unnamed:

Forget 3 weeks, more like 6 at the absolute earliest.

So it’s a holding pattern, try to win a couple of games. 4 points of 12 possible would be a good early season outcome.

This is going to be a really great game. I can’t wait.

Thanks for your insights.

Not living in Penrith area is it a foregone conclusion the game will go ahead bearing in mind the wet conditions from the rain and local flooding? How long ago do I remember a helicopter being used to dry the pitch?

If the NRL ,(Abdo) had any common sense , it should postpone these opening rounds. Hawkesbury area is a island, don't know about Nepean area, Manly area as well.
The Penrith Council has been building an ark.

It’s going to be extremely dangerous for the players.

Crowd should be Ok due to the need to stop the trembling and nrl withdrawal symptoms.

It hasn't rained in Penrith all day so far. The weather tomorrow is predicted to be fine and sunny, no rain and 26c.

I confirm a dry spell, but sky still overcast.

Drains remain under stress in the Panther catchment as this photo I took for foreigners shows.

Also attached is a recent photo from Henry street Penrith ( facing west). Note the top of the Toyota dashboard.

A wet track will cause issues for their truly astonishing fullback. Arguably right here and now, the best player in the world.

Kindly stay on topic and refrain from criticising other clubs unrelated to the game Mobby.

Do you think the selected forwards are more or less evenly balanced like me or do have another view?

You took it off subject by posting pictures of pot holes
No I didn’t, i went to the trouble of taking and posting real pictures pertaining to the weather in the catchment, near cua stadium that people were concerned about.

Live coverage.

Oh my.....drip, drip, drip.

Silverdale Us Penrith Panther fans & members continue to live rent free within you're tiny brain.
It must be very crowded in there.

If Blue Bet (Penrith Park) was in danger, why would games be transferred here.

As many others have said before me. Silverdale, you're full of it.
