You don’t have to meet the quota of 30 players.

It would have made more sense to sacrifice a few nuffies down the end of the cap line to keep Burton.

will come back to haunt you many times over in the next few years.

Even Kiks had a rare fair game last night. He will be back to his old lazy self soon enough.

By the time Api arrives at WT, the squad will be much more competitive.

Hastings will be in the running for a Dally M this year, even with the hassle of Luke Brooks doing everything in his power to kill that off.

Letting Burto go for a half eaten dessert was negligent.

Gus ratted on you I’d say as he did with Kiks and the treatment of Hook.

I’m not confident about next week for you at all. I wouldn’t be over-smugging it.

Tonights Black Lentil and Watercress Soufflé!

As gusty as Edwards is Ivan f**ked up bad not having Burton play 1
- Ivan screwed up not playing him at fullback
- Other clubs screwed up not signing him.
- I can’t understand why Time didn’t make him 2021 Man of the Year.
- The Council of Cardinals showed no foresight in not naming him Pope in 2013

and so on and so on and so on….

When Burton’s sides win 90% of the games he starts at half, talk to me about Burton vs Luai.

Burton is. A better 6 than Luai and will prove it
Api is cashing in to end his career
Capwell is........who knows

Different players. Burton has a it more class about him. Luai is a jack rabbit and a pain in the arse to defend.

I feel Luai is a better match with Nathan

Burton needs to show us his talent week in week out. As I said before there has been just as many talented guy fizz out. I mentioned Taylor and Tim Smith. Both these guys had better debut seasons. I agree Burton has less weaknesses then those two. A bigger body.
Playing in the centres thou in a gun side is different then running an average team. How would SOS look at the Dogs?

Without Edwards, we don’t win the grand final. So I disagree with you there.

Plus Burton left so he could get a starting halves spot, so playing fullback may still not have kept him at the Panthers, just like playing centre didn’t

Burton will demand 1 million a season. Edwards half that.
Burton has 2yr contract with a 3rd in his favour. That means end of this season he can negotiate. I beleivr he signed for dogs for around 600k mark. No way is he taking up his option he will go to market. Unless Dogs upgrade him for this season, next amd 2023 to around the 800k mark.
The thing is so many sides need a 1 million dollar playmaker. Side likes Penrith,Storm,Parra,Roosters,Manly,Souths have their halves.
There is atleast 6-8 clubs who do not and all will throw their hat in the ring for him out of desperation.
I wouldn't be suprised if a side like Titans,Cowboys,Brisbane or Dolphins had some sort of 5 yr deal north of 1.1 mill ready and waiting. I'm unsure of negotiating processes and I realise that clubs can't talk untill a certain date but I dare say manager would be aware of deals in the pipeline.

Just like Mahoney leaving. I dare say the Dogs had already contacted management and said hold off till Nov 1. We have a huge offer. It isn't always the clubs fault to lose a player.

Burton may do well at the Dogs. I feel like Brisbane would be his best move. They will be back on top soon enough.

The blokeinabar Instagram made a good post about Izack Tago after our game, specifically his defence. He made 29 tackles and missed 2 against manly which is the best numbers from any centre on the field against Tom turbos favoured attacking side. Last year in his nrl games he made 70 tackles total and only missed 3, so physically he has it defensively, reading the game he looked good against manly. We know he has the attacking game if you saw him in reserve grade he has all the skills including a couple of try assists from little grubbers, footwork, acceleration and the ability to break tackles.

He is a very different player than burto but I think as a left centre he will be just as good, 7 tackle breaks on Friday that left side is going to be a nightmare to shut down with Luai kiks and too, there is going to be a lot of tries scored off the back of offloads and tackle breaks, 2 like that against manly(should’ve been 3) looking forward to many more as young Tago really settles and makes that spot his own.

And he should get better with more NRL experience. Just hope his body can stand up to it in his first season.

Is there anyone who doesn't rate Tago long term?

Is he ready to make 30 tackles a week for 30 weeks? I am unsure of that.
Like Staines last year I don't know if he is in the side come finals time

Long term though he is a 10 year player
