2022 Round 20 Panthers V Eels

I thought that the Eels where all over them in the first 17 mins and I felt it was a certain possibility of winning the game, maybe a 50/50. And as much as the 2 pointt where handy in the top 8 positions if Parra won against 13 men it would of given the side a lot of confidence.
Instead it was a hollow and boring game of footy. A ruined spectacle and a meaningless game bar 2 points. I didn't enjoy the game. May as well just give the 2 points and called it. The result was decided as was what was looking like a classic game.
Anyhows wish the Nathan tackle didn't happen. Would of been an enjoyable game.
Well said. Feels similar to the Panthers Knights game at the start of the season (when Newcastle were good). Great, even game ruined by an early (deserved) send off.

I’m starting a GoFund me page to help the Tigers right the injustice of their game against the Cows….

The end of the season has suddenly become a lot more interesting and intriguing.
We should now join them in their lawsuit... The headlines would be "Cats got your tongue"

Was shaping up as cracker game. The Eels have definitely learnt how to trouble us. The offloads seem to get them down the field far better than any other team/technique we come against.

Interesting to see how the next few weeks shape up.

I’m pretty sure Nathan tackles like this often ala hand between legs and lifting to put them on their back. Problem was this time Liam released just as he lifted.
not sure it was a send off but definitely 2 weeks and 10 in the bin.

I have read that the Eels put the cue in the rack for the second half. I’m not so sure. Wouldn’t it have been better to really make a statement? Knock the wind out of the Premiers and get your teams finals run firing. What I saw was a 12 man team control and win the second half.

so the question about resting players is answered I guess.

There was no other outcome but send off and minimum 3 - 4 weeks. It's one of the worst tackles in the game.

I don't wanna see more than 3 players play origin next year. To play that brutal 3rd game and that game against the Sharks last week really showed the physical and mental fatigue. I season is really on knife edge again. Let's hope he only gets 3 weeks and I would rest most of the boys next week

5 games for Nathan

We face a serious prospect of going winless for the rest of the regular season now. The Warriors game we should probably win, but the other 4 are tough.
