Probably not a bad thing. Will help lift the standards of the place if Fitz brings in players that can help set the tempo and an example.

Can only help in his transition to being a HC too.

I like him but he’s not too different to Tracey so is one of them getting a starting spot? If so what position?

Watson is similar to Tracey. Both are hard running, wholehearted players with limited skills. Best suited to utility roles.

Hard to see what Watson adds. Not good enough to be a half. 13 is covered and Tracey seems to be a logical utility.

That’s my pet hate!! The amount of f**ken try hards sporting that look the days is crazy. I’d rather them have a f**ken man bun it’s that bad.

I like Watson.

However not only is he similar to Tracey, they are both similar to Metcalf. Heck, the way Trindall has developed you can lump him in with them as well.

Watson is cheap. Not expensive and as the game keeps getting faster a little bloke who can make 30 tackles and still be quick around the middle has value. He is an out and out 13 these days but can still help us in a number of positions mid game should injury occur.

Brailey 9, McInnes 13 and Connor 14 means we would always have two blokes with good foot work in the middle at all times. Kinda takes the Tracey bench role though but rumour has it the club sees him as a centre with the current line up.

We need players in for all the ones we are shipping out. Sometimes you just need a first grader with a good character off the field. Also check the feedback from Knights fans since he moved to 13 - https://forums.leagueunlimited.com/threads/connor-watson.484004/

Wouldn’t sign Conner or any player that’s injury riddled, has cost us badly the past few years

Capewell has improved alot getting consistent game time in the one position. One of his biggest issues was his defence imo and the Panthers are obviously big on that. Origin would have improved him also.

Yeah I know. He's turned out to be a much better player than I thought possible tbh.

Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at the new Brisbane team.
