The same seat presale for Broncos members is active from today until Friday. People with GA memberships and even 4 game memberships are included, they'll just receive an allocated seat in level 5. This could knock off 25k+ from the sale next week.

Here's a example of a drop game, shame they give a bad name to my bird team.

Same seat members had up until yesterday to claim their seat. Those seats have been released now which explains a bit

That does make sense. Thanks @moffla

I'm wondering if there is more to it and they were selling AAMI at 1 row on, 1 row off and now thrown the middle rows up for sale. They've done this in the past, and it seems like too many seats were released to say otherwise. But I am totally guessing and hopefully wrong!

Unfortunately it is feeling more and more like that. The number of tickets that keep coming back on sale is significantly larger than what you'd expect for member & sponsor returns.

I'm not confident of the game hitting 20K at the moment. Feeling more like 18K, maybe even as low as 16K.

I agree. The NRL needed to price it a bit different because the sidelines look to be alarming. Such a hard sell even if the tickets were cheap. It's an elimination final against a pretty keen rival and their big papers and media down there couldn't give a rats. The Herald Sun has NRL below (but not limited to); UFC, American Sports, Soccer, Netball, 'Sport Insights', and 'Sport Investigation'. The Age is pretty much the same.

They'll flip the script if the stadium is half full - it'll be front page. If I worked in PR at the NRL I would have seen this coming and went out to Rugby Clubs and primary schools with about 10,000 printed tickets.

Anyway, I think it will be loud and a good watch.

If the Storm win. NRL want the Panthers prelim at CommBank not Accor.

Instead of opening tickets to Panthers members now. Then having really cheap GA tickets to fill the crowd.

They do some strange things, finals is still handled poorly

I'm hoping oneday the NRL grows some balls and move the Storm to Perth where they'll guarantee sell outs every home game. They've been in Vic for donkeys and still can't sell out tonight, what a joke of a state, and a joke of a sport they have down there, even my work colleagues can't understand why they get big crowds. They even say to me they've never seen so much drop ball in their lives and yet people love it, they must be wierd bunch down in Vic.

The last 2 years have been the highest crowd average for the storm since they started in 1999. This year is the first time they got over 20k average

Seems about the right time to get rid of them....

So it took 24 years to get above 20k wow, they have finally woken up. I bet Perth would get double that
