The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

Really hope the Lions don't sell out Thursday or you won't be able to shut the morons up..............

C'mon Storm, sell out a game in Vic and shut them up!!!!!
There a massive difference between an AFL sell out & a NRL sell out .
An AFLOL sellout can have up to 7K empty seats …no where near full .
A NRL sellout has probably 500 empty seats .
Just another smoke & mirrors job by the AFL

But in the afl they count two heads for each person, no wonder they get big crowds..

So what's with the Tigers sales strategy at Accor, they have two different prices for the same bay, but you pay $5 more to sit near the aisle... I don't understand why they would go to the effort firstly to have to create a build like that and secondly considering you can be put 8 seats in from the aisle, why thry would you want to anger the fans like that?

It`s an interesting pricing strategy for sure, I imagine a lot of people would pay the extra $5 to have easier access to and from their seat. Maybe just not the time and place for a struggling club at the moment, but hey when would be the right time.
I suppose winning a few games would be a start.

At their lowest point lions average actually came fairly close to the broncos I believe. We’ve seen them sellout their stadium before and it’ll happen in the future. That doesn’t mean shit. The NRL is dominating QLD and if anything are strengthening our lead. Let’s just enjoy the boom the NRL is having and stop worrying because the AFL got a good crowd.

Yeah the Lions have no chance of dominating QLD. Most Brisbane based sport lovers just watch from afar and wish them well but they just aren't a threat.

The Reds have had a few years of average more than us but they aren't a threat either. They just have an enormous bandwagon that consists of GPS students.

Lower Western Stand in Newcastle only has scattering of seats left now. Pretty solid sales in the rest of the Grandstand seats as well, possibly comparable to what the Dolphins match sold.

Majority of Gold Seats have now sold out at AAMI Park in the upper bay, and Diamond seats are down to single seats, so pretty much from tryline to tryline has the majority of seats sold. Bronze bays behind the goal posts are down to single seats and GAs are selling well.

At Penrith, all Grandstand bays are down to single seats only and it looks like some solid chunks of Suncorp have been moved in the past 24 hours.

Could we be on track for all 8 matches to get 18K+?

That’s actually smart

getting stuck in the middle of a bay and you want to leave 20 mins early when your team is getting flogged and you have to go past loads of fans of the winning side sucks Majorily (looking at you panthers fans)

Titans v Dragons looks least likely to go 18k+. Titans v Storm game had S23, 24, 25, 13 open up about a day or so before the game and that got 14,483. Watch for those bays to open in the next few days to see if it'll go over the storm game.

The Broncos have just about reached what was sold for Broncos v Tigers, with a few more days of sales and only a wet Friday, we could see 30-33k. If 80% of the stadium members show up we could even see 34-35k.

Red line - pretty much sold (includes GA bays which probably have another 200+ seats available)
Green line - selling well
Purple line - open but relatively untouched
Blue line - stadium members - will look sparse on the TV

I expect sections 707-712 to open soon.

If we keep winning, we have a home game vs the Rabbitohs on Friday after Anzac day. I'd expect 38-42k for that.

Current state of play for Good Friday at Accor - Platinum Plus, Platinum and Gold are all down to single seats only in Tier 1.

Weather forecast is for showers and a possible storm. Really hope that doesn't come to fruition (and even a day like today would be fine), as it would be great to see these big public holiday games getting over 40k in Sydney again.

Problem is you then get the pss heads and the weak bladdered from the rest of your aisle wanting to be in and out every 2 mins!
