That`s odd, because I saw an article saying that the vast majority of interstate visitors, about 50k, had driven over the border from Victoria
Now you wouldn`t be talking the fumbleball up again would you.
the flight from perth on weds was full of people in bobble hats lol. Weds night the hotel was full and the restaurant area I was in was packed. Im guessing that isnt normal for a Weds night in Adelaide?
Origin in Perth attracted 20k interstate visitors each time. How many people go to Brisbane for weekend for MW? Sports tourism is big business these days.

I’m so pleased you know so much about this. Hourly updates would be appreciated. Oh and get stuffed.
It’s been an hour, so to update you, all games now sold out. Surprised it took the AFL so long to copy the NRL on this.

P.S. I don’t bring it up. Just correcting all the misinformation and BS on here, including this one…

8 of 9 games soldout is easy when you're playing 3 games at a fenced off cow paddock dopey LOL
They have sold around 230k tickets. Fair effort first time around. Magic Round 2019 was about 130k. Don’t make stuff up.

That`s a bloody sight different from saying Adelaide was packed with visitors from "interstate", the clear inference being from your original statement was that there were visitors from every state and by implication the non fumbleball states like N.S.W. and Qld.

The truth is fumbleball fans are desperate for something different from the week-in, week-out drudgery of the regular season routine. No rep games state or international, no indigenous round, no decent women`s game, their ridiculously named gather round finally gives them something different.
Let`s see how it goes after a couple of years, because I`ll be surprised if the appetite remains for sitting through two or three of those interminably long games remains even for the most maniacally brainwashed fans.

Great stuff and keep them coming. Nice to see an afl fan acting with such dedication on an NRL site. Our games were over 3 days at one ground. You probably didn’t know that as you are an afl fan. As an afl fan could you tell me how many days this round goes over and how many grounds they are using? An answer in the next hour would be appreciated. Assume you are a Collingwood fan? You act like one.

It’s actually sold much better than anyone expected - 8 of 9 games are sold out. All the paranoid NSW folk will be pleased to know that the SA Govt has put up the cash and it will be staying in Adelaide for the next five years, so no Victoria invasion is of Sydney any time soon
Since the afl is copying rugby league how’s about they get rid of points for missing the goal

that’s unaustralian
