Panthers/Storm probably would have been fine at Penrith. Storm away crowd is likely to be minimal and many Panthers fans will be looking ahead and saving their cash for GF tickets. Accor capacity is logically right for a prelim but it’s the wrong choice for this game.

I also don't agree at all with the notion that Penrith (or Melbourne for that matter) would be better off, or would have preferred, to play the Preliminary Final at Bluebet.

If Penrith or Melbourne make the Grand Final at Accor Stadium, they will have the upper hand against either the Broncos or the Warriors because they played the week prior at Accor.

In a perfect world Penrith would have a 30k stadium suited for finals, but it’s not the case and not likely to happen. My two cents all Sydney clubs should play finals at Bankwest, Accor, and Allianz.
