Cameron Smith explained: “I actually caught some vision in my review of Game I at Adelaide Oval.

“He stepped out of that little zone that NRL officials like the coaching or sideline staff to stay in.

“He slipped out there and he had a few choice words to the touch judge, and he might have got in the ear of the touch judge in that game. So he was warned by the NRL, ‘Mate, just stay back and quieten down for us’.

I dunno, sounds like a reasonable request to me.

“I just picked him for the bantz” - Freddy, probably
Has he got a plan for anyone? The one good move Freddy came up with was Turbo at centre and letting him roam (basically playing as a second fullback).

Otherwise the roster changes as a result of what happened in the previous game and the game plans don't. There hasn't been any game plan that I have seen. Ony players doing what they do best at club level, but less effectively because the team isn't built or coached for that to work across the side.

Freddy deserves to lose 3 nil. It's just a shame the players under him haven't had the best circumstances to prove themselves in Origin. Some have been cast aside after a single game where they didn't do any wrong... and will be tough to get another chance after that even under a new coach. Hopefully next year the slate is wiped clean, and whoever replaces Freddy picks the form 17, with big game experience giving guys in similar form the edge.

This is the least interesting game of the worst SOO series. QLD haven’t been good at all and the less said about the NSW effort, the better.

what kind of stupid fkn decisions will NSW make next?

Picking Parra players is statistically a dumb move
Hey man one of the only bright spots we had for a time there was the fact that the convicted rapist apparently actually got Origin and always seemed to be one of the only Blues who actually played well.

2017 was worse. A total derpfest. Qld hobbled over the line because after playing like world beaters for the first 120 minutes of the series, NSW reverted to playing football so dumb that even the current Wests Tigers would've comfortably beaten them.

Whatever you wish to say about Freddy, this is what he took over in 2018 and turned around, and that should always be appreciated.

Only cos Smith, Thurston and Cronk retired. It was more good luck than good management IMHO. The 2014 series win was more impressive than anything Freddy has ever done.

That series the maroons were still fielding Munster and DCE who everyone is salivating over now and all other kinds of internationals and premiership winners.
