You can't out-Penrith Penrith. I know, Souths have tried for 3 years. It'll take something out of the box to beat them. The best we've looked against them the past couple of years is when we've gone all-out attack.. if you try go set for set, you lose.

Ummm Have you met the Eels?

That victory was set up the moment Welch went into the presser and started suggesting Penrith without all their players were easy beats

FMD that FT came all of a sudden. There'll be a few teams in the top 8 who were hoping for this Panthers win.

That’ll learn Christian Welch to go in to a post match press conference with an attitude of disbelief of “how the Knights lost when Penrith had nobody”

This game has basically been a repeat of last year's Penrith v Souths prelim.. you can't give them a sniff!
Was that the one Souths led 35 mins of first half... And in 5 minutes it's level at halftime with that to'o try?

Legit knew we had it win when we leveled it up then. Souths were all over us yet in a few minutes we leveled it up and from there it was one way traffic.

Looking at the way this unfolded. Very similar. Except we did it with mitch Kenny and Jack cogger in our spine. Last year it was Api and Nathan

Tonight is the first time I thought Penrith are ready to take this comp out again. Their defence and hunger seems to be where it needs to be. The attack is still a work in progress.....but I feel they will improve pretty sharply in that area once Cleary comes back.

1 to broncos in 77th min
1 to eels in GP
2 to souths in 80th min
4 to tigers just outplayed
4 to cowboys in GP

5 losses by combined 12 points. Only loss Panthers were outplayed was vs Tigers. But this side could easily be 100%. I still think people under appreciate just what a great outfit this side is.
In a multiverse, if we would have won those games it would have matched the for/against we have. Regardless, IMO the teams in the four on their day will still have it takes to beat us if they play well enough in the finals.

Showed our resilience and belief with a remarkable turnaround at a major hoodoo ground for the club. Our bench with the likes of Smith, Leniu and Hosking really helped to swing the momentum our way.
