2022 GF>28-12Cogger > Whitebread Cleary
I absolutely took that comment as an unintended compliment to Penrith and a real insult to Newcastle.I think it was a compliment to Penrith
He was impressed our side won with all the stars rested.
How good has Lindsay Smith been.......gave them a big boost with some hard running to change the tide. He'll get no big wraps but I thought he was tremendous and crucial towards changing the momentum of the game (which is tremendously hard to do).Showed our resilience and belief with a remarkable turnaround at a major hoodoo ground for the club. Our bench with the likes of Smith, Leniu and Hosking really helped to swing the momentum our way.
IMO, I think they'll really take their time in bringing Cleary back. Cogs is fitting in superbly. And after this season, I reckon the Dragons have their next halfbackWith Cleary back in 2 weeks you will see the Panthers ramp up towards the finals only a monumental game from another team in the finals could stop them getting 3 in a row.
More likely Wests Tigers.IMO, I think they'll really take their time in bringing Cleary back. Cogs is fitting in superbly. And after this season, I reckon the Dragons have their next halfback
Cleary keeps getting midseason rests he wouldn't want that give him time to focus and plan for premierships. With Cleary back in 2 weeks you will see the Panthers ramp up towards the finals only a monumental game from another team in the finals could stop them getting 3 in a row.

2021. Shoulder f**ked in Origin. Missed 6 weeks and came back heavily focused on his kicking game and changed how he played to suit our busted squad
2022. 5 week suspension. Had 5 weeks to plan for week 1 of finals where he absolutely terrorised Eels.
2023. 6ish weeks with a hamstring injury. Sitting in coaches box with a birds eye view of what he can do to improve the team.
Kinda shocked Panthers are able to do much at all with so many duds in the roster. They also lost attack and defence assistant coaches. Lost their hooker. Lost their strike second rower. Their best player is on the sidelines... And even full strength last year they were carrying some duds. Ivan is probably a bit underrated tbh.
A peak Souths game with every risky/flukey play coming off is the only worryWith Cleary back in 2 weeks you will see the Panthers ramp up towards the finals only a monumental game from another team in the finals could stop them getting 3 in a row.
He's Leniu's replacement.VERY different props but he's a gunHow good has Lindsay Smith been.......gave them a big boost with some hard running to change the tide. First time I've seen Bellamy sit back during the game and actually looked like he knows there's nothing can do to stop the PanthersView attachment 76274
“F*ck me Craig! How did we lose against the Panthers without Cleary at home when we were 14 up?”
Haha don't worry PENRITH, its not 22-0 yet so you're still well on top.
beer and skittles was a bad choice...
Good point. But these days family connections are not a given these days. But whoever he goes to, if he leaves, he will be a good buy.More likely Wests Tigers.
His dad played for the Magpies.
