Souths will be without:

Latrell Mitchell
Cameron Murray
Cody Walker
Damien Cook
Keaon Koloamatangi
Campbell Graham
Jai Arrow

Plus others (Host, Cartwright, Thompson, etc).

Couple this with the bounce-back factor and Canterbury are a very good chance.

Is a dead cat bounce a good bounce back factor? Dogs really still don't have the forwards. All the young guys ar burnt out, and TPJ just isn't playing for the team. TPJ is the sort of bloke you add to a team as an impact forward if everybody else is going good. But the problem is they ain't.

We'll get down field this week alright, I'm not worried about that.

But can we score points? Literally 90% of our points this year would have come off the back of Mitchell, Walker, Graham, Murray or Koloamatangi.

Earlier this year we defeated you 50-16. Not one of the players who scored on that day for Souths are playing this week.

Meh, Souths beat Warriors in NZ while missing a few. This will still be a cake walk for them.

Chee Kam apparently out now too. That makes 13 of our Top 30 (9 of those are first 17 players) out, and Ben Lovett the only available second row/edge forward in our entire squad (Koloamatangi, Arrow, Host, Cartwright, Chee Kam all out). Probably have to play someone like Taane Milne there tomorrow.

If Bulldogs can't win this their supporters should riot.

Reckon it will be similar to Sharks/Tigers game last night where the later will put up a fight for a while before getting done.

I mean sure, if the Sharks were missing Kennedy, Talakai, Hynes, Brailey, Nikora, McInnes, Rudolf and a few others.

Over the years the Roosters, Storm, Penrith and Broncos in particular, won many of their games during the Origin period with a tonne of players missing. Your club is stacked with talent, this is the reality of the big boys club.

Easy win here.

Souths have looked completely out of sorts lately.
Lose a game they should win, win a game they should have lost.

We have consistency - we know who we are - we are a very below average footy team ready for another loss - but hang on a second:

Souths are a structured attack at the best of times - Now that's gone. A shambles.
We don't have an attack but are sometimes willing to participate in the game.

But Souths, know this, if you give us an opportunity with enough disruption in your squad - on the back of our massive loss - we'll happily sneak in and take our final win for the year thank you very much.

That side would put 40+ on the Dragons even with the blanks.
