If I'm completely detached it's probably a fair comparison

Both sides were damned good sides but realistically overachieved in making the GF, and IIRC the Cows in 2018 had a pretty similarly disrupted follow up season

Cowboys 2017 finals run will always be one of the strangest finals runs. Made it just due to the dragons screwing it, Morgan went in to beast mode then got shown up in the most forgettable grand final I can ever remember
