Where did you hear Manly is throwing in 150k? Is that just for this year or all 3 years of the deal?

Where did guy hear they’re chipping all of it in?
I’d assume maybe 150k first 1-2 years but not all 3 years of the deal.
My understanding from the club, Keppie sought the release to join the Bunnies. From what i've heard the Eagles haven't committed to paying future earnings.

On his Day he burst tackles, hits hard in defence. His downfall is he gives away stupid penalties...

Maybe he’s walking away from some money then. We would not be paying him 500k a season. We offered Hame around 400k to stay I believe but he left to Dragons who have him on 550k starting next season.

Yes I’m aware re the silly penalties.

Manly gave him permission to look around, they didnt want him, they wanted to free up cap space, theyve been very active buying players,he actually didnt want to leave being a junior there, but when your told to move on well... we were looking at cheap options to replace hame and knight, hame was on 300 knight 500, ive heard they are chipping in 150 but who knows for sure perhaps its 100,but they are chipping in.

Well Handy old boy how have you been? I stand to correct you here. Keppie was a junior in Group 6 played for Narellan then played Junior reps for Parramatta. He always wanted to be a bunny!!

This is a good listen into Sean Keppie back from 2022 if youve got 30 minutes. Seems like a hard working family man which is good for us.

I wouldve been keen to keep Sele but Keppie is a great replacement and could thrive at Souths like Tatola did when he came over.

Rumour that Mamozelos has signed a contract extension to stay.

Great news if true. He must get more games in the 14 next year we all know this hopefully JD and co know it too. We have to give him more exposure to first grade I think he’s ready. Cook 55/60mins and Pete 20/25mins.

BUNNIES HIT ON ARROW

One player who will not go to November 1 is South Sydney’s Jai Arrow. The two parties reached an agreement weeks ago but are yet to formally announce the re-signing.

Arrow has committed to a new deal to keep him at the club until at least the end of 2027.

The Rabbitohs have locked in a large chunk of their roster long-term.

The players who are off-contract at the end of 2024 include Thomas Burgess, Michael Chee-Kam, Peter Mamouzelos, Taane Milne, Shaquai Mitchell, Isaiah Tass and Izaac Thompson.

I was sitting on the edge hoping he would score, the whole family erupted when he got in the clear, our champion!!!!
On social media Souths fans are debating us moving Murray to an edge but I don’t see how we can currently as Murray offers so much with ball playing and lock whilst Arrow and Keppie wouldn’t. To move Murray we would need Ilias to step up enormously and I’m not sure he has it in him.
