Teo’s impact off the bench that was was amazing. He turned the game.
first tackle he picked up Maloney and dropped him. Gave away the penalty. Next hit up he crushed cordner and the roosters shit themselves.
The highlight though was Pearce telling Sutto to calm his team down and stop choking when it was 12-0.

So gutted for Cody. Although this injury is minor, and they're saying he could be fit for game 2, I don't think Freddy picks him now. If he's in any doubt or can't do every session, then the Blues won't pick him which is such a shame.

Usually I'd disagree with this as we should want as many players regularly at Origin level as possible.

Latrell not actually wanting to play for the Blues? That has to be one of the most utterly ridiculous claims I've ever heard in Rugby League. Seriously. Apparently he was extremely emotional about pulling out of Origin 1, you don't get like that if you don't want to play. I don't think there's a single player in the NRL that would turn down the opportunity to represent their state, let alone the match payment. Far out, that'll do me.

That is a very strong Queensland team. A few injury outs of course but all their replacements are deserving of their spots. Although, I'm surprised Kaufusi didn't get a recall.

Great news that both Trell and Cam are fit! That's good for both NSW and us. Interesting that they both won't be able to train until Sunday though. While I'm happy to hear our club physios have told NSW that, and NSW have agreed, I'd be feeling a bit hard done by if I was Campbell Graham. That's the exact reason why he was sent home from the Game 1 camp. Oh well, good that our stars will still basically get another full week's rest so they'll hopefully be primed to go.

Congrats to our four Rabbitohs selected!! Friggin awesome. Great to see Trell and Cam will play again, but a massive congrats has to go for Cooky for earning a recall, and Keaon for getting in the squad. So cool for both those players and they really deserve it. Although Keaon isn't playing, his selection as 19th man shows how close he is and it will also be a great experience for him to be surrounded by those players in that environment.

In regard to the entire Blues squad, I'm a bit shocked at how little they've changed. Really shocked actually. I certainly can't call this a significantly stronger squad than game one. Trell back in is a big boost and it's good to see Cooky back but the rest of the side is much the same, or even a bit weaker. Moses and Luai in the halves? How the heck does Frizell and Young keep their spots? How does Utoikamanu get picked ahead of Leinu? This is all before even mentioning the treatment of Hynes.

Some questionable stuff in there and I've got to say, I'm not convinced.

Far out that is huge news! Massive news for the Blues, holy hecka.

As a Souths fan, I can't say I'm unhappy to see Trell isn't gonna play. Gutted for him of course, I know how much he would have wanted to, but it's Souths first in my eyes. Him playing one of the biggest games of his life off the back of this injury and not having game time was a huge concern for me leading into Origin 2, but at least now we don't have to worry about that.

It means he gets even more rest and even more time to get it right. It obviously ain't no minor calf strain like what was reported so we need to make sure he is 100% right. Too much of a gamble not to be.

But far out, what a blow for the Blues. On top of everything else that has already happened, it's a huge loss. Latrell was one of their biggest trump cards, one of their biggest hopes, but that won't be happening now.

They'll be smiling in Queensland.

Happy Origin day everyone!! One of the best days of the year is here once again and I cannot wait!!

Pumped for this one, I reckon it could be one of the greatest Origin games of all time. I hope it is anyway. So many storylines, so much drama.

I personally hope Queensland can wrap up the series tonight, but if NSW were to win, it would be huge. So huge in fact that I think they'd go on and win the series.

Ahhhh man, I just can't wait!

I'm gonna tip Queensland by 6.

Cook got thrown to the wolves tonight and performed ok. Really pleased for him that he scored the try. I really don't get why Cook was left to defend at centre while Murray sat on the pine for 50 minutes.
