It would be very strange if St Marys dont win both competitions. The numbers suggest the SS finals should have only 3 teams - the elimination game next week is between 2 teams that St Marys beat by 66 and 58 in recent weeks.
In RMC, Glebe won 10 games but 5 of their 6 losses were by more than 20 points so their points differential is only 26 better than Mounties, who won only 4 games but lost 6 by 8 points or less. When Glebe meet Wenty in the qualifying semi next week, they both go in having lost to Canterbury in recent weeks. Glebe have beaten Wenty both home and away.
Hills have been very ordinary for most of the season but have lifted somewhat in the last 2 weeks. Ryde Eastwood won the first encounter 26-6 and Hills won 42-10 two weeks ago, but if Hills are to win next week it will be the first time they have won 3 consecutive games. Ryde has lost the last 4 games following their 24-0 win against Glebe.
