It would be very strange if St Marys dont win both competitions. The numbers suggest the SS finals should have only 3 teams - the elimination game next week is between 2 teams that St Marys beat by 66 and 58 in recent weeks.

In RMC, Glebe won 10 games but 5 of their 6 losses were by more than 20 points so their points differential is only 26 better than Mounties, who won only 4 games but lost 6 by 8 points or less. When Glebe meet Wenty in the qualifying semi next week, they both go in having lost to Canterbury in recent weeks. Glebe have beaten Wenty both home and away.

Hills have been very ordinary for most of the season but have lifted somewhat in the last 2 weeks. Ryde Eastwood won the first encounter 26-6 and Hills won 42-10 two weeks ago, but if Hills are to win next week it will be the first time they have won 3 consecutive games. Ryde has lost the last 4 games following their 24-0 win against Glebe.

If I am right (which doesn't often happen :) ) St Marys only lost one game between the two grades. RM undefeated.
Would be interesting to see how they managed the point system. Not having a go at St Marys but it wasn't not a great system this year. some SS teams got really got the bad end of the stick

Thats interesting because a number of SS teams included guys who played NSW Cup this season in some rounds. Even Glebe vs Cabra had Eden Rodgers Smith and Aaron Johnson. St Marys even included Christian Chrichton in SS in a few games.

It might help to identify the problem you are alluding to, if you published the points system.

Any of the gurus out here know how I can get access to schoolboy cup finals? Seems like the pool rounds are finished but is impossible to find anything for finals - where are the games? What days etc

Since the play rugby league site seems not show anything and most games during pool rounds would say ‘to be confirmed’ but not update until after the games lol

Funnily enough, players like Sam Radovu never played one game for SS at Hawks but at St Mary’s been a regular SS player

When I looked at the NSWRL website yesterday I noticed that all the team lists for RMC and SS for the season had disappeared. The same has occurred for Mojo Cup. It appears that, presumably unintentionally, someone has disabled the team lists visibility function for the major competitions.

The consequence was that in today's Mojo Cup games there were no team lists visible in the system. DLS Caringbah were very impressive, winning 24-6 over premiers, Collegians, and unless they lose to the winless Corrimal next week, DLS has stolen the minor premiership from Collegians.

The teams were entered in the system, so while nothing is visible in team lists, the points scoring details are still visible. The actual times of the tries was as follows:

DLS - Jack A Williams 27m, Talanoa Penitani 41m, Kai Parker 50m, Isaac Longmuir 71m
Collegians - Sam McCann 67m

So unless the NSWRL works out what it has done and reverses it, there will be no team lists for the Finals series commencing next week.

You were right, went to St Marys today to watch a few games. No team lists so unless you knew the players - bad luck and NSWRL charged $10 at the gate. Then when I got home I found out the games were being live streamed. What a joke.

It astounds me that its finals time and scores are still being imputed incorrectly.

Ryde actually defeated Cabramatta in Shield 20-12 not 16-12. Blake Layton scored with the last play of the game. Ryde declined the kick at goal so all the NSWRL officials at the ground must have missed it.

It was an amazing day. Apparently the NSWRL is aware that the player lists have been disabled (in major competitions but not in junior competitions) and no one thought it would be a good idea to give the team lists to the ground announcer until after the first 2 games were completed.

The scoreboard was actually showing 20-12 at full time. At about the 32 minute mark, while a conversion was being kicked from the sideline, the clock advanced to 40 minutes and siren went off. Play continued until a different hooter went off. The scoreboard did not start showing the game footage until the 3rd game.

The NSWRL finals preview quoted the score in the previous Ryde vs Hills was 8-44 when it was actually 10-42 as Tyler Cassel's conversion was credited to Hills instead Ryde.

Truth stranger than fiction!
