Anyone got a pax update for Roosters/Rabbitohs by any chance?

I'm waiting for credit card to tick over to buy tickets. Seating diagram looks like sales haven't been as strong as they were for the same game last year, so anticipating a lower crowd than 36,639 in R3 2023.
Why do you think that as I thought it be just like last wit te way the NRL has been going ?

Funny thing is it was the WSW crowds (at the time) which pushed the Parramatta stadium redevelopment.

Just goes to show the sleeping giant RL has been.

I think they had the foresight. It’s just the testicle area they’re missing.

The stupid thing is this will get done. 10 years down the track they will drop a similar amount on a Qudos Arena type venue for other events.

It will end up costing the same as the Paceway version would of anyway

Because our local mp is in bed with the paceway property devs and Labor sees votes in adopting thought-free, simple, reductionist slogans like “hospitals before stadiums”.
Mate I`m all for 30k stadiums for everyone, but we are facing a housing affordability and ED waiting queue crisis, so in fairness maybe we do have to have priorities.

Stadium funding isn’t going to infringe on dealing with those things. The comparative cost is minuscule. This is about making sure it’s done and sorted rather than waiting and spending much more on doing it up again when it inevitably becomes a necessity. The cost of that project ironically will be more of a hindrance than doing it up the quicker and easier way now.
