Yeah, when i took my seat in upper section of the members at around 3.15pm i thought the crowd was looking around 24-25, 000 but not long after kick off i thought this crowd is going to push the 28.000 mark. was pretty close.27,239 at Allianz according to ABC radio.
What happens if neither side knows how to win?No way it's seriously sold out?
Fair pointDolphins Brisbane was at Suncorp, having a broncos home game instead makes no real difference.
I agree with this, although I'd love to see some grounds get upgrades and capacity increases, it is something unique to Rugby League that the pro clubs still play in their communityWhat is wrong with the current model?
I like that RL plays games in regional areas and not just big, soulless Stadiums

Yet some fans are blaming as one twitter said Putrid refs....compared to Super League and Union I'm loving the NRL.Said it before, people want to be entertained, right now the footy on offer is excellent and folk want to see it live at the games and not just on TV. You will always get a few shit crowds, terrible weather and terrible teams with not much to play for, but even those near the bottom of the comp are still getting folk through the turnstiles, great going all round.
Yes magic round and double headers add complexity. Its a fun thing. Austadiums also counts them as three event and came up with a different figure to all of us,
We could also double our average if we count everyone twice...unfortunately that's not how counting works. If we count Vegas and Magic Round as 4 events rather than 10 games the denominator is 190 and current average per event is 19,981 - a season average of >20k probable
Good, not great in your sparkling new gold-plated stadium. Certainly a good start.22,275 regular season average for roosters at SFS this season.
Great effort in a year where we didn't host ANZAC Day.
