Round 2 has Cronulla (13.5K), Manly (17.5K), Redcliffe (10.5K)
Round 3 has Christchurch (17K), Belmore (18K), Kogarah (18K), Leichhardt (18K)

We need a strong start before the traditional mid-season lull. Having too many games at smaller venues limits our ability to keep the average above 20K for as long as possible.

Probably should limit it to preseason clashes or games against real low drawing oponents, but cost of operating the venue is a factor - they would pay stuff all to run their own venue.

Yeh I understand they do it for a reason but the newest team who are supposed to be appealing to a large amount of people as ‘Brisbane 2’ playing in a park footy ground in Redcliffe is pretty amateur hour. People will say “it looks good on TV” but it really just looks like a full small stadium that a 2nd division team should be playing in.

Agree. It's not the like Dragons don't have any drawing power either in South East Queensland. If they snag a win against the Titans in Round 1, getting 20K at Suncorp is far from the realms of possibility.

Broncos pay $400k a game rental for suncorp so yes you’d think an extra $600k ticket sales plus the much better corporate facilities would more than cover the extra cost. The joys of bringing another suburban club into the nrl, they bring the mentality with them.
