Anyone have intimate knowledge of Raiders ticketing? Heaps of sections completely unavailable but those that are available are more or less empty.
There’s a group of 8 of us looking to go Saturday arvo, does this mean tickets are selling quickly or should I not stress too much?
No rush really. The Raiders stagger their release to condense the crowd.

Bays 1-3 and 7-20 haven't been released yet. There are also plenty of seats in the other areas that have been held back for potential new members. You can wait and check daily to try and score lower level sideline seats (this is what I do when I go to Raiders games) or just grab something now.

'Gold grandstand' seats are just as shit as 'bronze terrace', so if I can't get 'silver inner bowl' around the 50m line I just grab 'bronze terrace'.

Yep. Friday is very close too.

There will no doubt be some tickets held back for promoters and sponsors. Keep an eye out daily, you might get lucky.

I'm such a f**kin clown, i only went to buy Magic Rd tickets for Saturday this morning and can confirm they're sold out.

FML.

We don`t count as one viewer the person who sits down and watches 3 games on Foxtel on a Saturday afternoon, they are three unique views, so why are we counting as the one viewer somebody who watches two games in a row live.
Completely different things.

Attendance is about tickets, it is the same ticket. It's like claiming the curtain raiser whether that be a flegg game or women's game or whatever got a crowd of 18k because that's what the NRL game got.

ABC radio reporting Cowboys expecting >20k on Saturday. 18k already sold. CEO said record membership figures, >10k season ticket holders and 15k sold for every game before they go to market.
Well NQ peeps will need to get moving and buy some tickets because the eastern top level has an abundance of tickets available.

AFL bullshit lying.

Brisbane 7/9 and Dolphins 4/7 regular season crowds exceeded 60% capacity at Suncorp Stadium in 2023. Excludes Magic Round and finals.
Nice cherry pick of a year they made the GF. In a normal year how many Broncos crowds have not reached 31.5K?

Stupid prices

Sideline $85 adults $65 kids
Behind sticks $49 adult $27 kids
In the gods corners $32 adult $21 kids

They charge far too much for kids and need a cheap option for adults for those who cant afford to fork out $50 for behind the sticks. They should make the top tier $15 entry and try and fill the place!

The game against the Cowboys is worse - level 7 sideline is $149 a pop. The same area is $159 for Origin.
It's not like one game memberships don't exist that can get you into these games much cheaper than this.

If you look at crowds for the four of their expansion teams, they have spiked with the big Melbourne teams are in town due to them having large expat supporter bases and travelling fans. The AFL have front-loaded these games to make their ''Opening Round'' look amazing, but in reality, they've just pinched a fixture that would have been a big drawer later in the season and wasted their round 1 fixtures that would have been reasonably well attended anyway due to their fans missing going to the games.
