I`ve got a feeling that we might all be pleasantly surprised by the crowd next Thursday night. This is a big game: Penrith, reigning premiers and on fire, humbling all before them. Roosters hitting a rich vein of form and with a golden opportunity and great chance to make a statement and knock them off.
With a brilliant new stadium that is almost worth just going for I expect we`ll see a massive turn-out of Roosters` fans, healthy Penrith numbers and a large contingent of neutrals there to experience a great stadium, great atmosphere and what could be one of the games of the year. And don`t have to get up to go to work the next day !
35K + for me.
Titans vs Phins next week does not look like its moved many tix at all.. Love my banter club
It's unfortunately not uncommon for the Titans to start a season with weak crowds and then for attendances to build as the season grows. I'm not sure why this happens, maybe the locals aren't thinking about football in March?Does there seem to be much hype around this year? Last year their crowds finished strong despite having another poor year on the field so disappointing if that hasn’t carried over to a new year.
I think they should be targeting this one for a decent attendance to get the ball rolling again, run promotions & ticket deals etc. Titans V Dolphins should be getting 20k+, local derby and all. Anything under 16-17k would be disappointing IMO.
Grandstand is near capacity, hill is around 50% full just before kick off. Say around 13K currently, hopefully crowd continues to build.great weather here
belmore should be packed
Yeah I'm hoping 25k and that would be a good crowd for this fixtureI think that's at the very optimistic end of estimates.
Here's the state of play at Allianz for next Thursday - it doesn't look to me like they have put tickets on sale yet for Level 2 at the northern and southern ends. They will likely go on sale next week if the current GP allocation shown in blue is close to being exhausted. It's unlikely that level 4 east (circa 8,000 seats) will be released.
Even if there is a strong showing by SCG members in level 4 west, it's hard to see a crowd over 30,000. I think 25,000 is a good ceiling estimate.

Sydney sure loves it’s suburban groundsKogorah looks ok maybe 11k
Honestly looked more.
Unfortunately they didn't get a $3.4 billion stadium build for them in 2012. Now they've gotta decide to play out of either a suburban ground that hasn't had proper upgrade in 50 years or one of the worst worst stadiums in Australia for rectangular sports.Sydney sure loves it’s suburban grounds
Yep these fumblers come out of the closet for five minsWhere was CumberlandAFL last night?
And I bet you think they would've drawn more at Accor or Allianz.Sydney sure loves it’s suburban grounds
