Storm crowds are right inline with other NRL clubs. Swans crowds are inline with other AFL clubs. AFL simply has done better at building people up coming to games, it has nothing to do with Melbourne or Sydney culture.
well no because people in those areas get less chance to attend games.
In this example Melbourne have 11 games down there, So if you want to attend NRL that is your chance. As opposed to Sydney/Brisbane now where you get more chances.
So fans can attend any one of multiple games a week. We will see 1m people in Sydney attend games, Brisbane 600k or so
The rest of it probably lies the issue. How does an NRL ticket price compare to AFL or the big soccer matches down there?
